We are pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Glenn R. Luansing as the Thesis and Dissertation Supervisor of UST GS Law. This position is newly created, the main function of which is to oversee all thesis and dissertation writing students. Congratulations, Dr. Luansing!

ADMISSION AND ENROLLMENT ONGOING | Heads up, aspiring lawyers! We are pleased to inform you that the UDM College of Law Admission and Enrollment for the first semester of Academic Year 2024-2025 is now ongoing.

For freshmen and transferees, below are the enrollment requirements:

1. Original and photocopy of Official Transcript of Records
2. Original and photocopy of Birth Certificate
3. Four (4) copies of recent 2x2 photos
4. Original and photocopy of Certificate of Good Moral Character signed by the Dean or College Registrar of the school last attended
5. Accomplished student application form (provided by the UDM College of Law office upon enrollment)
6. A letter addressed to the Dean about the applicant’s intent to take up law (at least 1200 words without using AI such as Chat GPT or any other writing enhancement device)
Note: Applicants may be subjected to a personal interview.

For inquiries, kindly visit the UDM College of Law office located at the 3rd Level, Universidad de Manila, One Mehan Gardens, Manila, Philippines 1000, from Mondays to Fridays during office hours.

OFFICIALLY WELCOMING OUR NEW ASSOCIATE DEAN | The UNIVERSIDAD DE MANILA - COLLEGE OF LAW offers a warm welcome to our new Associate Dean of Law, Assoc. Dean Glenn Luansing.

Dr. Luansing is a former State Solicitor at the Office of the Solicitor General. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Santo Tomas Graduate School of Law with the degree of Master of Laws, and graduated Cum Laude from the University of Santo Tomas Graduate School of Law with the degree of Doctor of Laws. He graduated with honors from the Philippine Christian University Graduate School of Management with the degree of Post Doctor of Strategic Management and Leadership. He obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Civil Law. He also earned the degree of Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a registered nurse in the Philippines. He is an author of books in Civil Law, Statutory Construction, Essential Laws on Women, Gender and Children, Medical Laws and Jurisprudence, Torts and Damages, Nursing Textbooks and Reviewers. He is also a professor of law at the Universidad de Manila College of Law, UST Graduate School of Law, UST Faculty of Civil Law, University of the East, Far Eastern University, Bulacan State University, San Sebastian College- Recoletos, Tarlac State University, Polytechnic University of the Philippines, and Philippine Christian University.

Please join us in extending a heartfelt welcome to our new Associate Dean as he formally begin his journey at the Universidad de Manila - College of Law.

ANNOUNCEMENT: FACE-TO-FACE Classes in all PUBLIC SCHOOLS in elementary and high school, as well as in Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) and Universidad de Manila (UDM) from Thursday, May 2, until Friday, May 3, 2024, are suspended due to extreme heat index forecast. Said public schools are directed to adapt ANY ALTERNATIVE MODE OF LEARNING as it may deem appropriate.

Suspension of face-to-face classes for private schools in all levels, as well as national public institutions of higher education, shall be left to the discretion of their school administration. However, I encourage all schools to implement any alternative mode of learning as it may also deem appropriate.

This is due to the forecasted DANGER heat index of 45°C according to the Manila Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office.
