Face-to-Face Oathtaking of the New Physical Therapists

The face-to-face mass oathtaking of the new Physical Therapists will be held on July 14, 2024, at 1:00 P.M., at the Reception Hall, Philippine International Convention Center, Roxas Boulevard, Pasay City.

All successful examinees interested in attending the face-to-face mass oathtaking shall register not later than 12:00 NN of the day prior to the date of the oathtaking at http://online.prc.gov.ph to confirm their attendance.

Inductees shall come in Formal or Business Attire and must PRINT the Oath Form with their own generated QR. This will be submitted during the oathtaking in order to be tagged as "attended".

Those who cannot attend the scheduled face-to-face mass oathtaking may attend the online oathtaking or request a special oathtaking. Online Oathtaking announcements will be posted once the schedule is confirmed.

After the oathtaking, inductees shall proceed with their Initial Registration by securing an online appointment at http://online.prc.gov.ph on July 22, 2024 onwards.

I graduated my BSPT course at Ago Medical Educational Center in 1995 pa. Unfortunately, I failed in my 1st attempt at the PT boards. During that time, once a year lang ang board exam ng PT. Since I am the eldest among my brother and sisters, and it was only my mom who supported us, I told myself then and in my prayer during my 9 Simbang Gabi that same year, that the 1st job that would hire me, even if it is not related sa PT, I will gladly accept.

God answered my prayer and gave me a job overseas and as a physical therapist pa. During that time, a Philippine PT license and work experience were not considered strictly, and so by April of 1996, I was officially an OFW PT in Saudi Arabia. Nagsimula ako sa pagpapaaral ng mga kapatid, at ngayon, mga anak naman. Swerte rin na maaayos na Healthcare company ang napasukan, thus plans of retaking the PT boards became less of a priority and was set aside.

It was only then noong 2018 when I heard of SPLE (𝘚𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘭 𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘧𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘓𝘪𝘤𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘌𝘹𝘢𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴), & to my husband's (a PTRP) encouragement, I gave it a thought. But the pandemic came, along with other issues pa so na delay ulit. Until 2023. After so many years of contemplating and putting it off, I was determined to take the next SPLE regardless of whatever happens.

I had heard of Gold Rank sa PT group in the Middle East. And I can wholeheartedly say that I am glad to have chosen Gold Rank to help me with my journey! They guided me where to start, how to start, and provided me all the materials kung ano yung mga dapat aralin, with very competent lecturers, not to mention the encouragement, and very responsive advisers. Salamat po sainyong lahat.

Preparing for the PT boards was not easy. Lalo na sa mga kagaya ko na who's not only working, but who also has the responsibilities of a mother and a wife. Na stroke pa actually yung mom ko during the course of the review and died a day before the exam. But I held on to God's promise and trusted Gold Rank.

Half nga lang ng comprehensive review lectures ang na view ko, hindi na nga nakapag mock, but I completed the final coaching, and thank God the questions were related dun po sa mga lectures na naattendan ko. Having a PT husband is a plus, sa support, prodding me with on the spot questions...

So yes, it's been almost 3 decades since I graduated and my previous exam attempt, pero hindi po pala impossible to try again. Basta willing ka mag allot ng time and effort, 𝙖𝙡𝙤𝙣𝙜𝙨𝙞𝙙𝙚 𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙧𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙧𝙚𝙫𝙞𝙚𝙬 𝙘𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙩𝙤 𝙜𝙪𝙞𝙙𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 - 𝙬𝙝𝙞𝙘𝙝 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙢𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙂𝙤𝙡𝙙 𝙍𝙖𝙣𝙠, and of course to pray for God's help always; rest assured you will get that PTRP.

𝘽𝙊𝘼𝙍𝘿 𝙀𝙓𝘼𝙈 𝙎𝙐𝘾𝘾𝙀𝙎𝙎 𝙎𝙏𝙊𝙍𝙔 𝙋𝘼𝙍𝙏 𝟔✨

I was okay. I’ve moved on. I had already convinced myself that there’s more to me than all my defeats. I’ve mustered the courage to keep going… but something inside me whispered “𝙏𝙧𝙮 𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙞𝙣. 𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚, 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙢𝙚.”

Failing the first board exam was one of my major falls. It felt like despite all my failures, God didn’t bother giving me this win. I knew in my heart, mind, and soul that His plans were waaaay greater than what I had in mind but as someone who has a lot of naysayers and doubters as if my internal doubts weren’t loud enough, I didn’t realize I was unconsciously doing it to prove myself.

After going through a heartbreak both in acads and love, 𝙄 𝙠𝙚𝙥𝙩 𝙖𝙨𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙂𝙤𝙙 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙝𝙚 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙩𝙧𝙮𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝 𝙢𝙚 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙨𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙤𝙣. 𝙄 𝙠𝙚𝙥𝙩 𝙖𝙨𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙝𝙞𝙢 𝙩𝙤 𝙢𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙞𝙩 𝙢𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙨𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙚. 𝙄 𝙙𝙤𝙣’𝙩 𝙬𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙦𝙪𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙝𝙞𝙢. That same night I was crying, I was enlightened with 𝙏𝙊𝙏𝘼𝙇 𝙎𝙐𝙍𝙍𝙀𝙉𝘿𝙀𝙍. I figured I was only praying AFTER I finished reading and studying. I was confident to pray because I knew I already did my part. I was subconsciously leaning on my own understanding.

After a few weeks, I took the risk again. I brushed myself off and tried again. I read ALL the book reviewers. I attended ALL the lectures again. I attended mass at UST church and went to Saint Jude for novenas. Attended worship at Victory. I was reaching out to God. I thought I was okay, it wasn’t the first time I failed at something, much more it’s not the first board exam I failed in. I thought I already learned complete surrender. 𝘼𝙨 𝙨𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙬𝙝𝙤 𝙝𝙖𝙨 𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙚 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙚𝙙 𝙤𝙪𝙩, 𝙄 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙝𝙪𝙢𝙗𝙡𝙚𝙙 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙙 of 𝙅𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙞𝙖𝙝 29:11 -- 𝙁𝙤𝙧 𝙄 𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙨 𝙄 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙮𝙤𝙪; 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙧 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙢 𝙮𝙤𝙪. The next day I was enlightened to 𝘽𝙚 𝙛𝙡𝙚𝙭𝙞𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙢𝙮 𝙜𝙤𝙖𝙡𝙨.

I kept moving forward.
I brushed myself again and again like I always do.
I had to muster the courage to face my tomorrows.

𝙏𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚’𝙨 𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙢𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙣 𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙢𝙮 𝙛𝙖𝙞𝙡𝙪𝙧𝙚𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙢𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙠𝙚𝙨.
𝙄 𝙝𝙖𝙙 𝙖 𝙫𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣. 𝙄 𝙝𝙖𝙙 𝙖 𝙙𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙢 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙄 𝙩𝙤𝙤𝙠 𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙤𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙𝙨 𝙞𝙩 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙢𝙖𝙙𝙚 𝙞𝙩 𝙖 𝙜𝙤𝙖𝙡. I was working one step at a time. I used all the bricks people threw at me and made it a bridge towards my goals.

I made it a point NOT to follow any superstitious beliefs. I didn’t wear red un**es. I didn’t let anyone sharpen my pencil. I just kept praying throughout this journey. After everything I’ve been through, looking in retrospect, I can finally say “God, I see what you did there. It finally made sense!”

After all the failures I’ve experienced both in this endeavor, in acads or even in life; I came to realize that the only ‘failure’ is when I stop trying and getting back up. Padayun!

BOARD EXAM SUCCESS STORY Part 3🥰💚

Hi! I'm Ferdinand D. Leaño, a graduate of Physical Therapy in Saints John and Paul Colleges Calamba, Laguna. Once a dreamer, a continuos faithful believer and now an achiever.

As I share this testimony of mine, all Glory is to God who guided me and never leave me all throughout my journey. The path I traveled towards taking the licensure exam is not easy as it seems. To begin with, this process of mine undergone two decades which made me a "22 years in the making Physical Therapist".

The Lord knows how deeply I felt hopeless, especially when I managed to fail the exam not once, not twice, and surely not thrice but five times. However, how great really is our Lord to have given me people that never failed to support and motivate me into chasing my dream which encouraged me to once again take the exam having the thought that it was the last chance for me.

Fortunately, aside from my wife and family, there are people like Sir Omar, the Golden Rank Teachers and Staff who never give up on helping me in achieving my dreams. Having the chance to study in this review center pushed me closer in achieving my license. Their way of teachings opened a key of rich knowledge in me which helped me to retain all the wisdom I need in taking the exam.

As smoothly as it may seem, things will really take a toll on you which will challenge you straight deep into the core of your faith. As I was scheduled to take the exam last June 2022, my mother died because of an illness months before my exam schedule which prevented me from taking the boards. After this sudden loss, I planned to pushed aside my dream and focus on the practical aspect of life.

However, it is true that even if your mind is set on something, there will always be this voice in the back of your head that will tell you to enlive your passion.

I listened to this voice and decided to once again take the board exam, despite the low-self steem in me, being a 47 year old adult joining younger ones head to head in taking the licensure exam. Like how challenges are given to strengthen you, rewards are also given to allow your efforts to paid off. With God's Grace, I was finally able to pass the exam. With all the ups and downs in my life, and having met the worst and best versions of me, everything has finally paid off.

Now I am a full-fledged Licensed Physical Therapist. It is true that in His perfect timing all will align. No matter how long the road of process is in achieving our dreams, our faith will be our ride and the Lord will be by our driver, driving by our side towards it.

GOLD RANK BOARD EXAM SUCCESS STORY Part 2 💕🥳

Hello, I am Alex Bardelosa Navarrete, PTRP at the age of 39!

Nagsimula lahat ng desisyon ko na i-pursue ang PT way back 2012. I was already 27 years old that time, isang pasaway na student during High School kaya sobrang nadelay ang academic milestones. Nagpalipat lipat ako ng college, hanggang sa dumating na nga ang point na sabi ko sa sarili "It’s about time!". Dapat baguhin ko na ang direction ng life ko. So, immediately noong 2012 nag-enroll ako sa University of Perpetual Help GMA. So far, smooth naman ang flow ng studies until internship, when I finally turned 31 na that time, at medyo nagsilabasan ang mga sakit sa katawan.

Eventually, nahinto ako nang ilang buwan bago sana makagraduate, at nagsabay-sabay pa ang mga usual na financial problems. Kung ano anong diskarte ang ginawa ko para magka extra budget lang. I worked as a trainer sa isang fitness center, dahil may background din naman ako sa fitness training as a PT intern kahit hindi pa nakagraduate. However, ang mga kasama ko doon ay mga licensed Physical Therapists na, kaya napapaisip talaga ako most of the time na kailangan ko talagang magpatuloy sa pangarap ko. So, I decided to resign to pursue my PTRP dream.

But, nagka-pandemic. So, nadelay na naman ang dream ko. I opted to work as a delivery rider instead kasi in-demand yun before, and need ko rin magsipag sa trabaho dahil magkakaanak na ako and need ng extra budget. Fast forward to year 2021, I was given the chance to continue my studies from Perpetual GMA to Perpetual Molino. But, because may anak na ako, need ko magkaroon ng extra income bukod sa binibigay sa akin na tulong ng mga kapatid ko. So, I decided na maging trcicyle driver, kasi kahit papaano ay nagkakaincome pa rin ako habang nag-aaral, dahil hawak ko lang ang oras ko sa pagpapasada.

Hanggang sa patapos na ako, namatay naman ang nanay ko months before ako gagraduate. Sobrang devastated ako kasi I was almost there na and my dreams are about to come true, pero di pa nya naabutan. However, I didn’t let it weigh me down but instead, sinigurado ko na it could fuel me to push through pa lalo. Alam ko na alanganin ako magreview center kasi need ko pumasada para may panggastos kami ng family ko. Kaya sa tricycle na ako nag-aaral. Nandiyan yung nasisigawan ako ng mga katoda ko sa pila kasi may pasahero na pala pero ‘di ko sila napapansin kasi nagbabasa ako. Naiintindihan ko naman sila, akala kasi nila kung ano ano lang ang ginagawa ko dahil tinatago ko yung mga binabasa ko from them.

Feb 2023 pa lang ay nagreview review na ako, kasi need ko agahan ang preparations ko since di nman ako makakasabay at makakatutok sa normal na review. Target ko sana by Dec 2023 makapagexam na ako pero naramdaman ko na di pa kaya. Kaya naman nung 1st week of May 2024, a month before the board exam, kinausap ako ng Dean namin kung gusto ko daw ba magfinal coaching sa Gold Rank Review Center. So, I decided na ipush through ang pag-enroll and grabe no regrets kasi ang galing galing ng lahat ng lecturers. Nagagawa kong magaral dahil inuulit ulit ko ang video lectures nila lalo na kapag di ko pa na-ge-gets. Naghe-headset lang ako sa terminal habang nakapila para marinig ko ang mga lecturers ng maayos.

GOLD RANK BOARD EXAM SUCCESS STORY Part 1 💕🥳

I'm Marlowe James Diocares Perfecto, a graduate of Physical Therapy at De La Salle Health Sciences Institute as a Full Scholar.

Several times in the past that I prepared for this exam but I failed. Maybe because it’s not yet time for me to receive this blessing. Just imagine a full scholar who failed the board exam? It was so embarrassing!

I had removed this dream in my mind and focused on working here and abroad. I've gone to different countries like Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, etc. Lately in Spain, seeking for something that makes me whole. But for no reason, I felt empty and a failure in what I was doing. Then one day, I realized that the Lord gave me education, I asked myself why and what if I will review again and try one more time. Those realizations made me excited to focus, persevere and determined to achieve my goal as a PTRP.

The Lord answered my prayer, especially my parents and siblings who prayed for me, made novenas, and attended masses for my intention to pass.
In achieving our dreams, we have to follow God's plan, not our plan. We have to trust His will and timing.

Now I am a full-fledged licensed Physiotherapist. It took me 18 years but I never gave up. I had faith that with Him, I can! 🙏
