On April 9, 1942, more than 64,000 Filipino soldiers and veterans became prisoners of Japanese troops and were forced into Bataan Death March which killed countless individuals.

Today, in honor of the 81st Araw ng Kagitingan, we commemorate the valor of the Philippine and Allied resistance who fought for the restoration of our independence and honor amidst the war. And together, we must unite, rekindle the stories of bravery, and continue to embody their patriotism towards our nation.

Celebrating National Arts Month with a 𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒚 twist,
as we move around and take in the freshness of all 𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐬'𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬!

Back in 2018, the TUP-FAD conducted a workshop on Likha Hayin Organic Painting under the direction of 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐫 𝐅𝐞𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐨𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐨 in collaboration with 𝐋𝐚𝐧 𝐄𝐬𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐨, also an artist.
The workshop's goal was to train the participants on color extraction from the materials in order to apply them for crafts and learn how to carry out the process at home. Yet, the purpose of this year's event is to demonstrate that art may also be made without primarily relying on conventional materials and that it is also possible to use natural resources in a way that promotes environmental conservation.

Because these amazing artists will be exhibiting their wonderful masterpieces using 𝐯𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐜 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐬 on February 20, 2023!

Likhayin, a one-day Organic Art Exhibition will be held at Arroceros Forest Park - Manila starting at 9AM to 4PM.
