What is Low Carb way of eating?
Eto nga pala yung way of eating na LALAMON ka pero DI KA TATABA. You know why? Kase you are eating RIGHT. Walang masama sa karne at itlog, sisihin mo yung overconsumption mo ng carb dominant food like rice, bread, pasta, noodles, root crops at sugar. Eto rin yung way of eating na di ka gutom, kase you eat when hungry until full. Hindi rin ito magastos kagaya ng inaakala ng iba, basta marunong ka sa diskarte.

UMBILICAL CORD IS THE GATEWAY FOR THE NUTRIENTS & OXYGEN FOR THE GROWING CHILD WHILE IN UTERO. I THOUGHT ALL UMBILICAL CORDS ARE THE SAME: PALE AND THIN. UNTIL, I SAW MY SISTERS GIVING BIRTH TO MY LOWCARB NEPHEWS.
Theirs have bigger caliber, stronger tensile strength & more tortuous. They needed extra effort so they can cut it! โบ๏ธ
You can search on google images to see if the typical umbilical cord mostly from typical diet high in carbs. It is smaller in caliber and thinner walls.
The average carbs in a typical diet is about 65% of total calorie intake per day, whereas in Low Carb, total carb intake is only 5-10%. Majority of the calories will come from fats and proteins.
Good sources of fats and proteins are essential for growth and development like meat, fish, eggs and other real foods.

Ano ang expected outcome at iba pang pagbabago na maaaring maranasan sa Low Carb lifestyle?
1. Mas mataas na enerhiya dahil mas sustained ang fuel source which is fat.
2. Mas kaunti ang nararamdamang cravings at may ilan na halos wala nang cravings.
3. Mas nakakaramdam na ng pagkabusog dahil nacocorrect na ang satiety signalling
4. Matagal kang busog at โhindi madali magutom.
5. Pagbabawas ng timbang (mostly fat), with muscle preservation kapag tamang nagagawa ang LC.
6. Umaayos ang Blood Glucose readings.
7. Nakakaranas ng mas matalas na pag-iisip at mas madali magfocus.
8. Mas maayos na pagtulog.

Napacheat ka, napakain ng High Carb Food, nagcheck agad ng timbang at na frustrate dahil nadagdagan agad ang timbang mo.
Kung ano man ang nadagdag sa weight mo after mong kumain ng High Carb, hindi po yan fat weight, WATER WEIGHT lang yan.
Ano ang kailangan gawin kapag napacheat ka?
Balik lang agad sa keto/low carb way of eating.
Kapag bumalik kayo sa pagkain ng low carb, ang water weight na naipon nyo sa pagkain ng High Carbs ay mawawala lang din once ang energy source nyo ay mag shift from carbs to fats.
Pwede din kayong mag fasting para yung oras na wala kayong kinakain ay unti unting ubusin ng katawan yung glucose na meron kayo.
Pero pag hindi talaga kaya, wag nyo pilitin ang katawan nyo mag fasting dahil mahihirapan kayo lalo na pag napadami ang kain nyo ng High Carb, makakaramdam kayo ng parang panghihina at panginginig ng kamay. Gradual lang dapat ang pagbalik sa IF.
Kaya pag napa cheat, wag na ma guilty, balik na lang agad. Pero mas okay din pag wag na mag cheat. ๐

What Low carb + Intermittent Fasting and right mind set did to my overall health and wellness.
I am sharing this for the first time on this page to raise the awareness about mental health. Mental health awareness, aside from health and nutrition was one of my advocacy why I started this page 2 yrs ago.
Story time:
Today, exactly 3 yrs ago. I chose to end my life because I couldn't bear the pain and misery anymore due to depression and anxiety. It was an impulsive act but still a terrible incident that I will never forget. Until now, even if my faith is not on top, I believe that there is a reason why I survived. Its because my life was not meant to end 3 yrs ago. Its not meant to end that way. After finally getting help, I saw the true value of life. I started my LCIF journey, met amazing people and until today I am still making the best of it through living a healthier and happier life. Let's celebrate the gift of life, celebrate every minute of it. Love your body and mind. โค

1. Weightloss: 66.5kg to 50kg
2. Allergies to eggs, poultry and seafood is gone.

4. Off my medications for my anxiety and depression

Sino nagsabing hindi na kakain pag LCIF? ๐ During feasting period eto yung mga food ko noon (mga unang araw beks). Until such time na nagbawas na sa gulay (less lang) at more on fats na (like bacon) and protein (eggs).
Cooked in olive oil or coconut oil (Baguio oil).
