“Class is Everything”: Class Hierarchy in Art Scene and Its Reflection to Modern Society
By: Juliana Abigail C. Manaluz
ABSTRACT:
The research conducted aimed to explore and analyze the disparity in class inside the art industry – from fine art to other fields of art – and how it dictates the art made by artists due to this disparity. It first analyzed the modern class system the society is currently operating under, understand the structure of it and see its failings on the working class by analyzing the works of Marx and other theorists after him. After then, the research takes a peek at the status of art education and the circle of self-taught artists. Examining these two groups helped understand that there are systemic class struggles still persisting in these two groups as well. The research then takes a look at the art scene and market, where which the artists generated their income. The researcher found that different art industries remain exclusionary yet there are changes being made that gives underprivileged artists chance to exhibit their works. The last key point visited if the themes in art and how they are conceptualizing and how art pieces are executed based on the themes visited by artists. The researcher found that these art pieces are often mirrors of their own experiences and culture and that art pieces from the underprivileged remains more impactful than the art pieces from the privileged class. Given all the statements, the researcher concludes that class divide remains a problem in the art scene.

"Graphic Design’s Visual Dissent: The Strong Power of Protest Art"
By: Sheena Katrina G. Gomez
ABSTRACT:
This study examines the complex relationship between protest art and dissent, with a particular emphasis on the powerful influence of protest art as a force for social change. Graphic designers use creativity, symbolism, and imagery to question norms, challenge authority, and elevate underrepresented voices in communities all over the world. This multidisciplinary research explores the historical development, cultural importance, and modern expressions of graphic design's visual rebellion by relying on art history, sociology, and communication studies. The research attempts to expand our knowledge of how protest art functions as a form of political expression, cultural resistance, and collective action by examining important case studies, theoretical frameworks, and ethical issues. The ultimate goal of this research is to shed light on the visual dissent that graphic design continues to exert as a force for social justice, human rights, and democratic engagement in the contemporary world.

A written journal ‘The Interconnection Between Botanical Illustration and Artistic Expression Throughout the History’ tackles about botanical illustrations have a rich history that dates back to the early prehistoric period when humans first started documenting plant life. The principles behind botanical illustrations involve capturing the intricate details of plants with accuracy and precision. These illustrations not only serve as scientific records but also as works of art, showcasing the beauty and diversity of the natural world. In the modern world, botanical illustrations continue to play a crucial role in fields such as botany, horticulture, and conservation, this blend of traditional techniques with modern innovation ensures that botanical illustrations remain relevant and valuable in today's society. The interconnectedness of art and biology, particularly botany, sheds light on the intricate relationships between the two disciplines.
