WE ALL MUST BE BORN AGAIN

All of us. No exceptions. This is the way to God, the way to the fullness of God's Kingdom, and the way to true freedom and life.

Here's the facts: all of us were born a certain way. All of us were born in a particular culture, with a particular nature, and a particular environment that nurtured us to be inclined to "like what we like" and "dislike what we dislike."

ALL of us have certain likes that are built into our nature.

We were ALL born this way.

And guess what? Jesus knows this.

Jesus knows we were "born this way."
Jesus knows we "like these things."
Jesus knows we "are this way."

And that's why Jesus tells us that whoever wants to see the Kingdom of God must be born *again*. (John 3:3)

Why is this significant?

Because "I was born this way" is no longer an excuse.
Because "I like these things" is no longer an excuse.
Because "I am this way" is no longer an excuse.

Whatever we were born to like or feel doesn't matter when Jesus tells us we must be born again; because being born again means we will begin the process of "liking" and "feeling" other things.

What are those things?

Those things are the things that God wants for our character, God desires for the world, and God expects us to do to serve and love others, and to serve and love His world.

Being "born again" isn't about getting rid of your former desires, but rather gaining a new set of desires that are rooted in God's character, rooted in God's Word, and empowered by God's Spirit within us.

Yes, it's difficult to fight your old desires.
Yes, it's difficult to overcome your old desires.
Yes, it's difficult to change your old desires.

But just like our first birth, we need to remember this is a process God promises to take us through to completion (Philippians 1:6). If you faithfully follow Jesus, He WILL give you new desires that you CAN choose to live out faithfully.

It isn't easy, but it is worth it, because Jesus is worth it.

We ALL must be born again.

This is the way to the Kingdom.

Never leave with bitterness and resentment. Before you decide to leave, give your leaders the privilege of shepherding and speaking into your life. Making a decision without seeking their advice and feedback is not fair.

Let us do our best also not to leave the ministry hanging. Leave for the right reasons. Pinaglingkuran ka din nila at ang iyong pamilya. It's just right to show gratitude to those who have poured into you.

May mga good reasons for leaving, may mga bad reasons for leaving. Madalas, mas maigi padin ang manatili at maging planted. But, If its time to leave, do so with the right spirit.

Naniniwala din naman ako na its not easy for members also to leave a church, so it would be wise for us to find out the reasons (the real one). If a faithful member leaves, he/she must have a good reason for it kasi they invested years in the ministry. Hindi laging kasalanan ng members kung bakit sila umaalis, madalas pa nga, tayo po ang nagkamali.

I don't minimize the pain of people leaving the church, ministry or small group. But don't lose heart. Kahit masakit, serve the flock that God entrusted to you. Draw closer to those who remained.

Ignorance is lack of knowledge and information. The greatest ignorance is ignoring God’s Word and warnings. That is when ignorance has reached it's worst point. Ignorance by it self is not a sin, but ignorance of God and His Word often quickly results in sin. Laziness and inability to read and study God's Word is one of the reasons for ignorance, blindness of heart and mind by the god of this world is another reason, many people are selfish, they place more importance on the physical and materialistic things above God, than spiritual and eternal things. Some pursue the earthly things more than the Spiritual things. Ignorance destroys and can cause us to be rejected by the Almighty God. - Hosea 4:6; it can also cause us to be alienated from God and His kingdom. - Ephesians 4:18. The Lord demands that all humanity should repent because He hath overlooked the times of this ignorance. is another deadly vice that will land many ignorant persons, Christian believers in hell. Peter the great apostle denied Christ even after He was warned because he was overconfident. Hear from God's Word: Peter said unto Him, Though I should die with thee, yet will I not deny thee.... - Matthew 26:35, yet he still denied Christ.
A day of accountability is ahead, a day of Judgment and destructions is ahead, where all humanity would be inexcusable. No amount of arguments and excuses will be weighty enough to deliver careless and carefree souls. How we need to cry out for GOD’S MERCIES and ASSISTANCE NOW. Do not take the longsuffering and patience of God for granted, come before Him in genuine repentance and heart searching. Seek Him while He may be found. 💖
