This workshop is intended for hospital management, software developers, and HIS technical experts. We will discuss data standards (HL7 v2 and v3, FHIR, ICD-10, LOINC, SNOMED, etc.) and explore their importance in the seamless exchange of healthcare information between systems. We will conduct hands-on exercises to help participants appreciate the potential and value of interoperability in improving patient care, research, administrative efficiency, public health surveillance, and clinical decision-making.

a. Conduct quality assurance prior to production release of the mobile application and the website module.
b. Lead the writing of the Technical Design Document, and c. Functional Design Document with the Lead Developer
d. Create a data dictionary for the mobile application and website module.
e. Document and Maintain the API.
f. Work with the technical development team to test, and document new applications and features
g. Make the source codes of the system available with proper technical documentation
h. Maintain detailed documentation of test procedures, results, and findings for future reference.
i. Participate in ad hoc projects and assignments as required
g. Complete documentation of developed software specifications and/or code
h. Documentation and or/recommendations on assigned research on technical issues and/or opportunities, as needed
i. Ensure effective tracking of software defects throughout the development lifecycle, utilizing appropriate methods or tools to log, monitor, and prioritize reported bugs

I. Job Identification
Position: Data Collectors (12 open positions)
Status: Project Based
Duration: 3 to 4 months
II. Position Purpose:
Data collectors are vital to the success of the Healthcare-associated Infection Prevalence in the Philippines Study (HIPPS) by ensuring that high-quality data is collected from each participating site. This role requires travel to selected hospitals across the Philippines to collect the required data using an electronic tool.
III. General Responsibilities:
a. Collect data in alignment with the research aims of HIPPS from participating hospitals across the Philippines.
b. Ensure the data collected is of high quality.
c. Conduct hospital surveys on time.
Key Duties:
a. In conjunction with the Project Manager and the Principal Investigator, prepare for each hospital survey to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
b. Diligently and efficiently collect required data sourced from patient medical records and records accurately using an electronic data collection tool on mobile devices.
c. Perform any other duties as directed, commensurate with the scope and classification of the position.
