HISTORY OF ICAM
The history of the Immaculate Conception Academy of Manila can be traced back to the year nineteen hundred and forty-six (1946). Mary Donavan, MIC opened a small school at the Ampil Annex in what used to be a cigarette factory on July 18, 1946. By August 15, the Sisters were ready to admit 85 pupils. Pedro Pajarillo, the parish priest of Gagalangin, earnestly welcomed the Sisters

Ash Wednesday | February 14
Signifying the beginning of the Lenten Season, Ash Wednesday awakens us to Jesus' entry into the desert preceding his death. As we await for his second coming, we prepare our hearts by recognizing our brokenness and need for conversion, a turning of our hearts to God.
Let us bear in mind the very reason of this season as we remember the Three Pillars of Lent in our spiritual pilgrimage in developing a closer relationship to God.

Vigil Mass for the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary | Dec. 7
The ICAM Community held the Holy Mass on December 7, celebrating the Feast of Immaculate Conception at Dr. George S.K. Ty Multi-Purpose Hall. In his homily, Fr. Thomas emphasized the value of obedience that played a vital role in our salvation as the Blessed Virgin Mary said "yes" to God's Divine will. Like her, may we sing Magnificat all the days of our lives!

This transformative seminar was attended by our intermediate, junior high, and senior high school ICAMites to help them embrace the skills needed to become the guiding force of the post-pandemic landscape.

The whole ICAManila Community gathered for the culminating activity in celebration of English Month that started last November 6. ICAMites were able revel in the ageless embrace of literature, reliving its legacy where each page becomes a doorway to new horizons and an invitation to the profound.
