HAPPY FEAST DAY TO OUR LADY OF IMMACULATE CONCEPTION đ
PRAYER TO THE IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY đ
Heart of Mary ever Virgin, you are full of grace. You are the dearest daughter of the heavenly Father, the tabernacle of the Word made Flesh, and the beloved home of the Holy Spirit. You are the wonder and delight of angels, of saints, and of men.
I offer you my deepest reverence.
With great love and thanksgiving I consecrate myself, body and soul, to you this day, and will never take back my word.
You are the marvel of Godâs creation; a Virginâs heart, yet a Motherâs too, with a motherâs love of Jesus and of men.
Dear Mother, fashion in my heart a childâs true love of you.
Fill me with your own bright virtues: simplicity and innocence, meekness and courage, and unfailing devotedness to Jesus Christ.
Since I belong to you then, holy Mother, save me from my enemies, from the world, from Satan, from myself.
Keep me always in your sinless Heart to make my poor heart more and more like your Heart and the Heart of Jesus.
Dear, merciful Mother, look with a motherâs love and pity on the poor, sinful, suffering children of the whole human family. Our Holy Father Pius XII has consecrated them to your Immaculate Heart.
Do not turn them away.
Remember the cruel pain your heart suffered for their salvation with Jesus Christ on Calvary.
Save them by His precious Blood.
Draw them out of the darkness and despair of their sin and misery into the light, peace, and holiness of the Church.
Then with the angels and saints, may they join us in singing the everlasting Magnificat of praise, gratitude, and love to your tender and Immaculate Heart, and to the adorable and merciful Heart of Jesus.
Amenđ
December 8: SOLEMNITY OF THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY
O God, who by the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin prepared a worthy dwelling for your Son, grant, we pray, that, as you preserved her from every stain by virtue of the Death of your Son, which you foresaw, so, through her intercession, we, too, may be cleansed and admitted to your presence. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception, pray for us!đđ»

WHY CATHOLICS MAKE THE SIGN OF THE CROSS ?
Catholic Knowledge
Since we make the Sign of the Cross before and after our prayers, many Catholics don't realize that the Sign of the Cross is a prayer itself. It should be said with reverence; we shouldn't rush through it on the way to the next prayer. The Sign of the Cross is not merely a pious gesture but it is a powerful prayer.
Using your right hand, you should touch your forehead at the mention of the Father; the lower middle of your chest at the mention of the Son; and the left shoulder on the word "Holy" and the right shoulder on the word "Spirit."
The Sign of the Cross
"In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen."
So what the Scripture, the Church Fathers and saints, and Catholic teaching tells us more about the Sign of the Cross.
Here six perspectives on the Sign of the Cross that revealed why making it opens us to life-transforming graces. I share them here, confident that once you grasp them, you will make the gesture with more faith and experience its great blessings.
I. MINI-CREED
The Sign of the Cross is a profession of faith in God as he revealed himself. It serves as an abbreviated form of the Apostlesâ Creed. Touching our forehead, breast and shoulders, we declare our belief in the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We are announcing our faith in what God has done â the creation of all things, the redemption of humanity from sin and death, and the establishment of the Church, which offers new life to all. When we sign ourselves we are making ourselves aware of Godâs presence and opening ourselves to his action in our lives. That would be enough, wouldnât it? But there is much, much more.
II. RENEWAL OF BAPTISM
First-century Christians began making the sign of the cross as a reminder and renewal of what happened to them when they were baptized. It still works the same way for us. When we sign ourselves we are declaring that in baptism we died sacramentally with Christ on the cross and rose to a new life with him (see Rom 6:3-4 and Gal 2:20). We are asking the Lord to renew in us those baptismal graces. We are also acknowledging that baptism joined us to the body of Christ and equipped us for our role of collaborating with the Lord in his work of rescuing all people from sin and death.
III. MARK OF DISCIPLESHIP
At baptism the Lord claimed us as his own by marking us with the Sign of the Cross. Now, when we sign ourselves, we are affirming our loyalty to him. By tracing the cross on our bodies, we are denying that we belong to ourselves and declaring that we belong to him alone (see Lk 9:23). The Church Fathers used the same word for the Sign of the Cross that the ancient world employed to indicate ownership. The same word named a shepherdâs brand on his sheep, a generalâs tattoo on his soldiers, a householderâs mark on his servants, and the Lordâs mark on his disciples. So signing ourselves recognizes that we are Christâs sheep and can count on his care; his soldiers, commissioned to work with him in advancing his kingdom on earth; and his servants, dedicated to doing whatever he tells us.
IV. ACCEPTANCE OF SUFFERING
Jesus promised us, that suffering would be a normal part of a discipleâs life (see Lk 9:23). So, when we mark our bodies with the sign, we are embracing whatever pain comes as a consequence of our faith in Christ. Making the sign is our âtaking up the cross and followingâ him (Lk 9:23). But at the same time it comforts us with the realization that Jesus, who endured the crucifixion for us, now joins us in our suffering and supports us. Signing ourselves also announces another significant truth: With St. Paul, we are celebrating that our afflictions as members of the body of Christ contribute to the Lordâs saving work of perfecting the Church in holiness (see Col 1:24).
V. MOVE AGAINST THE DEVIL
When the devil sent Jesus to the cross, he mistakenly believed he had won a great victory. Instead, the Lord surprised him with an ignominious defeat (see 1 Cor 2:8). From the first Easter morning through the present, the sign of the cross makes the devil cower and flee. So on one level, making the sign is a defensive move, declaring our inviolability to the devilâs influence. But more importantly, the sign is also an offensive weapon, helping us reclaim with Christ all that Satan lost at the cross. It announces our cooperation with him in the indomitable advance of the kingdom of God against the kingdom of darkness.
VI. VICTORY OVER THE FLESH
In the New Testament, the word flesh sums up all the evil inclinations of our old nature that persist in us even after we die with Christ in baptism (see Gal 5:16-22). Making the sign of the cross expresses our decision to crucify these desires of the flesh and to live by the Spirit. Like tossing off a dirty shirt or blouse, making the sign indicates our stripping ourselves of our evil inclinations and clothing ourselves with the behaviors of Christ (see Col 3: 5-15).
The Church Fathers taught that the Sign of the Cross diffused the force of powerful temptations such as anger and lust.
So no matter how strongly we are tempted, we can use the Sign of the Cross to activate our freedom in Christ and conquer even our besetting sins.
DEAR HEAVENLY FATHER, GOD of HOPE, on this first Sunday of Advent, we Praise, Bless and Adore You, for the Privilege of Celebrating Your great Faithfulness and Your immeasurable Generosity. You sent JESUS to us, and have Given Him for us. Every promise You have made finds its emphatic âYES!â in JESUS (2 Cor. 1:20).
Fuel our wonder and Enflame our hearts, FATHER. Help us engage again, with the story of JESUSâ Birth, with childlike Wonder and Renewed HOPE. Bring familiar Scriptures alive in fresh and transforming ways. We donât trust in a season, but in our Savior.
We love how Isaiah describes the Messiah coming to gather us up in His âAdvent Arms.â To be Tended as a helpless lamb, to be Held Close to Your Heart, to be Gently Ledâwhat more could we possibly need or desire? WE BELIEVE; Help our unbelief.
And In JESUS, You come Near to us as the Sovereign Lord, with Your sleeves rolled up as the Great Ruler. Your Arm Rules over all history and every heartache, over all kings and every crises. Nothing and no one can alter, subvert, or change the story You are telling, and the Kingdom You are Advancing, through JESUS. Thankfully, these arenât mere metaphors, FATHER; for metaphors canât save us, only inspire us. You really are this Involved in our lives, and You really are this Merciful and Mighty.
Indeed, the Coming of CHRIST puts all nations on notice: There is only One True KING, and He is JESUS. And the coming of our Redeemer puts usâYour people, face down in Adoring Love. Over the next several weeks, Show us, yet again, how JESUS is a most Wonderful and Grace-Full SaviorâIMMANUEL, the GOD Who is very much With us and totally For us. So very AMEN we Pray, with Advent Longings, in JESUS CHRISTâ matchless and Merciful Name!
HAVE A BLESSED SUNDAY!
Let us keep Christ in our hearts this Advent. As Pope Francis reminds us, âWe are so busy with all the preparations, with gifts and things that pass. But let us ask ourselves what we should do for Jesus and for others! What shall we do?â - Pope Francis
2 TIMOTHY 3 :12
" Persecution is one of a surest signs of the genuinness of our Christianity" Everyone who wants to live a Godly life in union with Christ will be persecuted."
Everyone of us must be ready of what will happen to us as a Christian.. And what consequences might happen in us as we follow Jesus and do his will.. Jesus said: " if you want to follow me, you must take up your cross , deny yourselves, deny the world and the materials of this world." detached from it.
You must live a life with humility and simplicity ..do not go beyond our limit..live with fulness of charity and with courage to defend our FAITH and stand firm...For JESUS is the surest way to achieve our Salvation. . to be with Him.forever..
Therefore, as we embrace our Sufferings in this world , do not worry for we are united in the sufferings of Jesus as He nailed fast on the cross of death !
If ever we are bound to sacrificed..accept it and overcome it with patience and perseverance.
Be strong in faith and resist the temptation of this world.
Do not be afraid.. God will never leave us until the end of time !
Amen đ
MY GOD HAVE MERCY ON US !

TODAY, November 27, we celebrate the FEAST of OUR LADY OF THE MIRACULOUS MEDAL.
Catechesis:
It was almost midnight when St. Catherine LabourĂ© was awakened by a soft voice, whispering, âSister, sister, sister.â Mysterious events led her to the chapel where the Blessed Mother appeared and sat down near the altar. St. Catherine knelt at her feet, rested her hands in Maryâs lap, looked into her eyes, and had a heart-to-heart conversation with her. Later, St. Catherine would refer to that night as âthe sweetest moment of my life.â
Four months later, in November of 1830, Mary again appeared to St. Catherine at the Rue de Bac Chapel. This time, our Blessed Mother was standing on a globe, with dazzling rays of light streaming from her outstretched hands. Framing the apparition was an inscription: âO Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee.â When Mary spoke to St. Catherine, she said âHave a medal struck upon this model. Those who wear it will receive great graces, especially if they wear it around the neck. Those who repeat this prayer with devotion will be, in a special manner, under the protection of the Mother of God. Graces will be abundantly bestowed upon those who have confidence.â
With approval of the Catholic Church, the first medals were made in 1832 and distributed in Paris. Only ten of the original medals are known to exist, and one of them is housed at the Miraculous Medal Shrine.
Almost immediately, the blessings that Mary promised showered down on those who wore her medal, and soon all of France was clamoring for what the people referred to as the âMiraculous Medal.â Use of the Medal spread from country to country, and, at the time of St. Catherineâs death in 1876, more than a billion medals had been made. Today, the Medal is still drawing down from God blessings for body and soul.
