SBCA High School Student Council

On July 22 and July 26, the newly elected student leaders from the High School Student Council engaged in a two-day leadership training, themed "𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙃𝙪𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙞𝙣 𝙎𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙞𝙘𝙚: 𝙀𝙢𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝘽𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙒𝙖𝙮, 𝘼 𝙌𝙪𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙀𝙭𝙘𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚.” prepared by the Office of Student Activities. 🦁

On the first day, the student leaders were welcomed by SBCA’s former student leaders, who shared their wisdom and perspectives during their days in the council. 🗣️

On the second day, Sir Jade Diaz delivered a lecture on faith-based leadership to the student leaders. They also participated in team-building exercises led by Ms. Maricon Soriano, Vice Principal of Student Activities. 📢

The SBCA High School Student Council expresses gratitude to all the speakers, facilitators, and organizers for making this event possible. ❣️

As the typhoon passes and brings along heavy rain and flooding, it is important for us to stay 𝙪𝙥𝙙𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙙 and 𝙞𝙣𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙚𝙙. According to PAGASA, has not yet reached its peak intensity, and rapid intensification is possible. Thus, it is crucial that each one of us keep these safety precautions and emergency hotlines in mind to ensure our safety and well-being.

As the typhoon continues, a significant number of Filipinos have suffered in the face of calamity. In times like these, extending a helping hand to those affected can make a 𝙝𝙪𝙜𝙚 difference, so we call on the community to 𝙩𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣. Within the post are ways to volunteer and donate to those affected!
