Robin Williams took his own life because he was diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia. Bruce Willis just learned that his illness is Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD) and Lewy Body Dementia. One of the hardest things to process is the slow change in the one you love. Becoming a completely different person. Everything changes. Just so you know...😢 It’s called the long goodbye. Rapidly shrinking brain is how a doctor described it. As the patient's brain slowly dies, they change physically and eventually forget who their loved ones are and become less themselves. Patients can eventually become bedridden, unable to move and unable to eat or drink or talk to their loved ones. There will be people who will scroll by this message because Dementia or Alzheimer's has not touched them. They may not know what it's like to have a loved one who has fought or is fighting a battle against Dementia or Alzheimer's.

With the side effects of chemo and radiation, you will never be 100% again because your immune system is weak. Ruins marriages, families and relationships with friends. Because you're not the same again after cancer and treatments.
In the hardest moments you know who your real friends are or who the people are who appreciate you.
Unfortunately, like with most friendships, Facebook friends will leave you in the middle of a story. They want a post to ′′like′′ for the story, but they don't really read your message when they see it is long.
More than half have stopped reading. Someone may have already gone to the next post in their newsfeed.
I have decided to publish this post in support of close family, friends and relatives who have fought this horrible disease.
Now I'm focusing on those who take the time to read this post to the end ... a little test, just to see who reads and who shares without reading.
Cancer is a very aggressive and destructive enemy of our bodies.
Even after treatment, the body is devastated. It's a very long process.
I would like to know who I can count on and who takes the time to read this.

1. You're going to die and you have no idea when.
Stop pretending that you're invincible. Acknowledge the fact of your own mortality, and then start structuring your life in a more meaningful way.

Even if you're one of the lucky ones who achieves his or her materialistic dreams, money only amplifies that which was already present.
3. Your obsession with finding happiness is what prevents its attainment.
Happiness is always present in your life--it's just a matter of connecting to it and allowing it to flow through you that's challenging.
4. Donating money does less than donating time.
Giving your time is a way to change your perception and create a memory for yourself and others that will last forever.
5. You can't make everyone happy, and if you try, you'll lose yourself.
Stop trying to please, and start respecting your values, principles, and autonomy.
6. Your achievements and successes won't matter on your deathbed.
When your time has come to transition from this reality, you won't be thinking about that raise; you'll be thinking about the relationships you've made--so start acting accordingly.

8. Nobody cares how difficult your life is, and you are the author of your life's story.
Stop looking for people to give you sympathy and start creating the life story you want to read.
9. Investing in yourself isn't selfish. It's the most worthwhile thing you can do.
You have to put on your own gas mask to save the person sitting right next to you.
10. Time is your most valuable asset--you need to prioritize how you spend it.
Halos lahat ng edad ay maaaring makaranas ng tinatawag na knee pain. Ito ay maaaring galing sa injury o sa kondisyong medikal.
Halimbawa ng mga injury ay:
Partial or Full tear ng ACL - ang ACL ay isa sa apat na litid na kumokonekta sa shinbone sa ating thighbone. Madalas na nagkakaroon nito ay mga basketball or soccer players na laging may biglaang pagpalit ng direksyon sa pag galaw.
Fractures- ang mga buto sa tuhod ay na damage dahil sa aksidente kagaya ng sa motor/sasakyan o pagkahulog
Punit na Meniscus - ang meniscus ay ang nagsisilbing shock absorber ng tuhod na nagkakaroon ng damage
Patellar Tendinitis - ang mga tendons na kumokonekta sa mga buto ng tuhod ay namamaga
Ibat ibang uri ng Arthritis:
Osteoarthritis - ito ang pag kaubos ng cartilage ng tuhod dahil sa edad o sobrang gamit ng tuhod
Rheumatoid Arthritis - ang sobrang paghina ng tuhod na isang autoimmune na karamdaman
Gout - nagaganap kapag may build up na ng uric acid at namuong crystal sa tuhod
Septic Arthritis - ang impeksyon ng knee joint na nagdudulot ng pamamaga at pamumula.
Huwag isawalang bahala ang sakit sa Tuhod kung ito ay:
May matinding pamamaga
Hindi na stable ang pagtayo dahil sa mahinang tuhod
Hindi na kayang iunat o tupiin ang tuhod
Ang simpleng pagtayo at paglakad ay hindi na magawa
Nilalagnat na kasunod ng pamumula at matinding pamamaga

Ang Stroke ay nanatiling pangalawang dahilan ng pagkamatay ng mga Pilipino, ito ay ayon sa pag aaral nila ME. V. Collantes et al.
Ngunit ano nga ba ang Stroke?
Ang Stroke ay isang condition kung saan ang isang bahagi ng ating utak ay nagkakaroon ng biglaan ngunit permanenteng sira dahil sa pagbabara ng ugat o pagdudugo sa loob ng utak (De Lisa).
Anong nangyayari sa katawan ng taong na-Stroke?
Ang taong na-Stroke ay may iba’t ibang reaksyon ang katawan. Ito ay depende kung saang bahagi ng utak na-Stroke at kung anong ugat (Ferri). Pero karamihan ng na-Stroke ay nagiging paralisado ang kalahati ng katawan. Depende rin ang pagkalala nito. Maaring mild lamang, moderate o severe.
Ano ang dapat gawin pagkatapos ma-Stroke?
Nararapat lamang na magpatingin sa Doctor ang taong na-Stroke upang siya ay masuri at mabigyan ng lunas. Nararapat lang din na pumunta sa isang Physical Therapist, para sila ay matulungan maka-recover.
Alam niyo ba na ayon sa pag aaral nila Pakaratee et al., ay maganda ang nagiging recovery ng pasyenteng na stroke pag nasimulan agad ang kanyang therapy (first 3 months)? Sabi pa sa kanilang pag aaral, mas gusto ng mga pasyente na magpa-therapy sa kanilang mga bahay dahil sila ay mas komportable at hindi na kailangan pang mag byahe. Mas naituturo rin ng therapist sa mga pasyente kung paano sila kikilos sa kanilang bahay at kung paano nila magagawa ang mga pang araw araw na gawain tulad ng kumain, maligo, magbanyo, maglakad at iba pa matapos magkaroon ng stroke.
