Maguisguis Integrated School and Nacolcol Integrated School, two of Lyceum of the Philippines University (LPU)'s partner communities in Botolan, Zambales, in partnership with DepEd Botolan North District, Microsoft Philippines, Innovative Training Works, LPU Manila COSeL and SHS, have achieved a significant milestone! Educators from both schools have successfully passed the Microsoft Certified Educator Program (MCE) 62-193: Technology Literacy for Educators.

This certification is part of the Teaching with Technology program of Teaching and Learning Innovation Center (e-Learning) in collaboration with Community Outreach and Service Learning (COSeL) and Senior High School (SHS) Admins and Faculty Members that assesses educators' skills and knowledge in integrating technology effectively into classroom instruction. By passing this exam, teachers from Maguisguis and Nacolcol Integrated Schools have demonstrated their ability to leverage technology to:

*Foster student collaboration and communication
*Promote self-directed learning
*Encourage problem-solving and innovation
*Enhance the learning experience

This achievement highlights the dedication of both schools and LPU to continuously improve the quality of education in Botolan. With educators equipped with these valuable technology skills, Maguisguis and Nacolcol Integrated Schools are poised to provide students with a more engaging and effective learning environment. Congratulations to the new roster of Adobe Certified Professionals at Our Lady of Fatima University (OLFU).

Headed by Dr. Raymond Macatangga, a number of faculty members from OLFU campuses, passed the ACP Visual Design Adobe Photoshop and Graphic Design & Illustration using Adobe Illustrator certification exams. Passing a certification exam is a testament of determination and commitment to excellence as IT Educators.

The Philippine Society of Information Technology Educators has formally endorsed the IT Specialist certification program. Together with other academic associations, IT organizations and industry entities, PSITE has officially recognized the IT Specialist program as a quality program that meets industry standards.

Congratulations to Engr. Ma. Lea A. Martinez and Engr. Dominador G. Zaragosa, Jr. of San Beda College of Alabang for passing the Adobe Certified Professional (ACP) Visual Design using Photoshop certification exam!

The Visual Design Using Adobe Photoshop exam is 50-minutes in length, comprised of two sections – selected-response items followed by live-in-the-app tasks inside Photoshop – and designed for a test candidate who is familiar with product features and capabilities, and can apply knowledge of graphic design principles to perform basic or routine tasks involved in their job role.

In partnership with the National University (NU) Education Technology Office, IT Works would like to congratulate the NU faculty members who succesffuly earned an addtional credential by passing the different Adobe Certified Professional (ACP) certification exam.

Adobe Certified Professional is the industry-recognized certification that demonstrates mastery of Adobe Creative Cloud software and must-have knowledge for digital media careers.

Each exam is integrated with an Adobe application and designed by experts, allowing for an authentic assessment of job-ready skills.
