A new day awaits the whole MCA community!
MCA student/athletes from back in the day, engged in prestigious sporting events around the NCR when a vibrant sports program were implemented prior to the pandemic. Some of our former basketball players from Junior High, balled with Manila's finest school programs in the Under Armour 3 x 3 tournament held last '19.
Better days ahead for MCA, once we begin competing again on the court.
His Word is like the sharpest of arrows that pierces the heart. It makes the most callous and stubborn understand, even the most difficult of things to do; like loving the unlovable of neighbors.
Here's to a blessed Sunday, MCA community! 🙏🙏🙏
Walk on MCA community!❤️❤️❤️
MCA Educational Field Trip saw the Parent-Teachers' Association president, Engineer Evasco, accompan Teacher Tess Viscayno and Madame Norie Wileman and our JHS wards to the respective art studios of national artists Botong Francisco, Pitok Blanco at Nemi Miranda right in the heart of Angono, Rizal. Considered as the Art capital of the country, the town is renowned for over a hundred years for it's rich heritage and culture in the realm of visual arts. It is also home to globally kanown muralist Vicente Manasala and the Philippines version of Rembrandt, Fernando Amorsolo.
MCA students of today are blessed to be exposed to such knowledge. As it not only to inspire them to fuel their passion for the visually pleasing, but to also expand their horizons in terms of history and knowledge that the Filipino talent is world-class! Fittingly giving back the glory to our heavenly Father!
A Triumphant Tuesday to y'all! 🙏🙏🙏
There's nothing to fear about, really! 🙏🙏🙏
Here's to a transcendent Thursday y'all! ❤️
Time and time again, MCA as a community has been strengthened and protected collectively from the advances of the evil one. This in turn made its resolve beyond tougher, only to find itself flourishing against all ofds.
Here's to a wonderful Wednesday to all of you!
Reminiscing the first ever school Intramurals dubbed as the Great MCA Combine of 2019, organized by MCA students, executed by MCA students, for MCA students. Had it nit been for the pandemic, we could've celebrated annual event four times. But cest la vie! We only have these images that serve as altars of remembrance of a bygone era in MCA student activity history!
Love conquers all! Remember to do good always!
Here's to a blessed Sunday, MCA community!❤️🙏🔥
❤️MCA Ring of Honor: Faye Anne Sierra, a Servant Leader in Christian Youth Ministry❤️
Youth need guidance and support as they go through the most challenging part of their development and seek to grow in their walk with Christ. Christ-like leaders are needed to serve young members of the congregation and help them to reach their full potential.
Youth ministry leaders must be rooted in a biblical foundation in order effectively communicate with young people. In addition, they must understand modern influences on Christianity, which allow them to identify with youth and build meaningful relationships with them. It is important for the truth of the gospel to be passed down from generation to generation in order to grow the body of Christ. Ultimately, helping youth to grow spiritually in their formative years will equip them to make an impact for Christ both now and in their future. The seeds of ministry life was planted on by her parents early on to the formative years of MCA Class of 2014 member, Faye Anne Sierra. And quite evidently, it has bore much proof more than a decade later. The daughter of Rev. Simeon & Marilou Sierra was steeped in the Word in their household, so much so, a school that would support her upbringing would be pivotal to her development.
Enter Muntinlupa Christian Academy, whose SOT curriculum drills its students with utmost familiarity with the Holy Scripture. An academic life abiding by the tenets of Christianity in and outside the small campus. Faye Anne's high school life was all about preparation for her vocation. Here, she was among like-minded peers and mentors who were ministry driven which aided her motivation to go on as well.
Thus her current ministry involvement include; being named as the President of the Local Nazarene Youth International, while sitting on the Board of the Prince of Peace Church of the Nazarene, she represents the Young PRO in Metro Manila District NYI. She spends her free time as a Volunteer Teacher, in Sitio Dumpsite Antipolo to reach out to oumarginalized brethren and at tye same time sings her heart out for the Lord as the Praise & Worship Leader and Keyboardist, for the Prince of Peace Church of the Nazarene.
And in between ministry work and her secular internship at Team Pacific Corporation , our dear Faye Anne assists her Pastor in church services for the Rapid Deployment Battalion of the PNP Special Action Force at Camp Bagong Diwa in Taguig City. Yet she does not forget her si ling duties to Grace Ardy & John Marieon, who she adores endlessly. The Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa, BS Psychology graduate of 2018 points to Philippians 4:12-13 as her life verse, where she drew inspiration in accomplishing feats for the Lord, named the HR Department in Team Pacific Corporation, which will start a new ministry by starting Life Group/Bible Studies inside the company. Recentlycopped the TPC Singing Contest 2022 & Psychology Idol 2016, while all was taking place, Faye Ann took up AB Theology units at the Central Philippine Nazarene College, Cebu to prepare her for more ministerial work entrusted to our homegrown servant leader.
Perpetual ministry motion at her mother church, Prince of Peace Church of the Nazarene (Antipolo) where she serves alongside with her father and Pastor, Rev. Simeon Sierra. MCA together with the mentors who nurtured her, are so proud to see Faye Ann live out her destiny in the service of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ!
❤️MCA Ring of Honor: Ivan Calica, On the Threshold of Opportunity: Mirroring Christ in the Philippine Coast Guard❤️
It is not for everybody to serve flag and country in Philippine Coast Guard regalia. So it is therefore a Divine privilege for our Christian brothers and sisters in uniform, that in their chosen military career have become great blessings to face these searing challenges of experiencing military service while being a disciple of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Ivan Earl H Calica CG Ensign - Commissioned PCG Officer is given the profound opportunity to mirror Christ to those around him: a servant leader humbly, sacrificially giving his time, talents—and even life, if required—for a greater good.
The Elemetary MCA alumna, class of '07 responded to an overwhelming call that could be at times enormous and seemingly relentless circumstances involved in it, Ensign Calica solely depends on Jesus for wisdom, strength and grace. As he was taught early by his parents Tito Jun and Teacher Monique Calica and reinforced by his teachers during his formative years at MCA.
Our dear Ivan knows that he is empowered to be faithful to this high calling, by virtue of His Word which says; “Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need” (Hebrews 4:16).
The Philippine Coast Guard Academy graduate (Coast Guard Officer's Course) by God's grace has been recently assigned this 04 April 2023 - at the National Headquarters of Philippine Coast Guard. Teacher Monique's only son was the former third engineer onboard the international vessels of Anglo Eastern Crewing Management prior transition to being officer of Philippine Coast Guard has served as an officer for 4 years prior entering military service. If only Tito Jun could see him now, he'd be very proud of Dra Pao's bro when he also briefly served as an instructor for maritime related courses at the Perpetual Help University Dalta System in Las Pinas, and has the honor of becoming the youngest fourth engineer promoted onboardship in his last merchant marine and shipping company. A proud member of the Class of '15 of the Maritime Academy of Asia and the Pacific - Class of 2015.
CG Ensign Ivan Earl Calica continues to navigate the rough and high seas of life with his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ! Here's to inspiring more MCA students and fellow alumni to respond to the higher calling of military service! ❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏
The last time MCA teachers and staff gathered to fellowship two days before the Christmas of '19, few months prior to the pandemic. Teacher Alvin was among us in a jovial mood. Fun times at MCA!
Happiest of birthdays to our former school's gatekeeper and everyone's friend, Eduardo 'Kuya B**g' Regala! God bless you and your family more! 😍😍😍
❤️MCA Ring of Honor: A Woman of Godly Substance❤️
A godly wife and mother will perform her roles and duties with joy and gladness, confident and remain secure in where God has placed her.
Therefore a godly wife and mother is one who is;
✅Conformed to the image of God
✅Walks in obedience to His call and way, and.
✅Seeks His face.
As far as her peers and former mentors
from the MCA community remembers, they collectively swear that Eula Alura-Dy fits the bill to a perfect tee. The BSC Psychology Major out of Perpetual Help College of Rizal has perfectly responded to her calling of being a working Mom and wife while striking a delicate balance between her roles at home, their Divine union, and the corporate world. Wearing too many hats in this fast paced world is daunting from the onset, but not our dear Eula who frolicks in the challenge.
The tenured Executive Assistant is able to keep tabs with her various roles in her daily life by keeping her priorities straight. Similiar to what she was accustomed to, growing up in the MCA campus during the inclusive years of '97 to '04 when she graduated High School from our beloved school, where meeting goals was like the air we breathe. Via the SOT curriculum, Eula learned at an early age how important it is to develop such character.
Her proud parents Jose and Alona Alura, could attest to that. From a child to marrying their daughter to Homer Dy, Eula and her siblings James Joel and Aiza Alura-Medina they were lovingly raised in the ways of the Lord. Victory Christian Fellowship Alabang is where she regularly attends with Homer and their son Tristan Dale. Her minsitry work includes coaching children in the Kids' Church.
The MCA alumna is placed at a position of influence with Isuzu Motors Philippines, as the President's Executive Secretary. From your cafree days of your childhood, Eula, you've come a long, long way! To God be all the glory!
Here's to a blessed Sunday, MCA community!
From the then svelte and trim big ones to the li'l ones, every MCA student got to overcome what Academic Year, 2018-2019 dished out. Forever grateful, we all overcame!🙏🙏🙏
'19 MCA Commencement and Moving Up Exercises Part Duex! Class of '19! ❤️
It has been four years since MCA last gathered face-to-face to send off its students to the next level. We all remember that fateful year when unprecedented challenges were presented to every teacher, student, parent, and member of the MCA community. To say the school was rocked to its very core, would be an understatement. Yet by God's grace, we can see these things through.
Under the collective leadership of MCA pioneer mentors with Mrs. Tess Viscayno, Mrs. Monique Calica, Mrs. Nory Wileman, and Mrs. Grace Failma at the helm, our school has been slowly but surely inching in getting back to regaining its former glory in terms of enrollment and community engagement. Regardless of the outside factors that try to hinder us from achieving our corporate goals, we go back to what transpired four years ago at Victory Christian Fellowship's Festival Mall facility and celebrated one of the most memorable events in MCA history.
Relive the feeling, revisit those emotions, and see where we came from to where we are now! God is really faithful to the MCA cause, His cause!
