This year’s theme, ”Sining ng Pag-asa,” brings hope that life continues in the new normal even with new challenges. “Although the platforms have differed, the message of the seven arts have remained to be steadfast. The arts are the beacon of hope, being the best manifestation of our culture and traditions amid the pandemic.

Lakewood School of Alabang Inc joins the celebration of this year’s Arts Month. A month long festival showcasing the school talented learners, creative and artistic minds in different activities. Various activities are lined up which include Glow Up: Make Up Challenge, Singing Idol, Feel the Beat: Dance Competition, Spoken Word Poetry Writing, Poster Making Contest, and Photography Contest.

Due to the government announcement last December 31, 2021 that the NCR - National Capital Region be placed under stricter Alert Level 3 from Jan. 3 to 15, 2022.

Wherein the following activities are not allowed under Alert Level 3:

Face-to-face classes
Contact sports
Funfairs (peryas)
Live voice/ wind instrument
Casino
Limited (30% indoor; 50% outdoor venue capacity)

Cinemas
Social events
Tourist attractions
MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences, exhibitions)
Amusement parks
Recreational venues
In-person religious gatherings
Licensure exams
Dine-in services
Personal care services
Fitness studios; non-contact sports

In this, the SHS Strand Day will be postponed and be rescheduled on March - April 2022. Wait for further announcement regarding the said activity.
