you get online is good for you. Talk to your trusted health professional (BOARD CERTIFIED DERMATOLOGIST) who has your interest at heart.
GOREE CREAM strikes again!
Take note of the multiple blackheads and rough texture of the patient’s skin after using Goree Cream for five months just to treat her melasma. So far, even her melasma got worse.
Stay away from Goree Cream if you don’t want your skin to grow pimples.
Although this one does not look so bad, others are not so lucky.
The glass skin trend using oil based products could result to acne breakouts. Double cleansing with oil based products could also be unsafe for acne prone skin.
Goree strikes again and all the time!
Remember: online posts that promote products use filters. They do not tell the truth. This one is an actual patient who used Goree.
STEROID ACNE ALERT!
This is a patient of mine who developed this monomorphic eruption (almost the same stage) of acne due to SKIN FIGHTER prescribed by a doctor herbalist.
Please do not apply anything on your face without consulting with your board certified dermatologist.
Topical creams may be used only externally but they can cause serious side effects. Please do not take these little things for granted.
ACIDIC SKIN?
Surprise, surprise!
FYI: Our skin is normally acidic at pH 5.5 and will develop many problems (dryness and itchiness for example) at neutral pH. Stop the false information and stop blaming the acidity of your skin.
Skin NEEDS to be acidic.
The best skin care hack is to consult a board certified dermatologist. This is the best short cut.
Update on our ongoing treatment for pimples.
With no procedures and no intralesional injections, the treatment of acne takes around three months.
In about four weeks, there is already a marked decrease in new acne lesions. What you see now is just redness from the post acne marks.
CHILDHOOD ECZEMA / AD
Childhood eczema, or atopic dermatitis, is a skin condition that affects many children.
The following are some important facts about AD:
* AD often begins with itchy skin. Subsequent scratching often leads to the appearance of a red rash.
* AD can develop on any area of your skin. However, at certain ages, the rash can appear on certain areas of your body. Among infants, the rash often appears on the scalp and face: particularly the cheeks. For children 2 years of age up to puberty, the rash often begins on the creases of the elbows and knees. Other common areas are the neck and ankles.
* AD tends to run in families. You are more likely to develop AD if blood relatives have AD, food allergies, asthma or hay fever.
*AD is a complex disease. Aside from its tendency to occur within families, other factors which may play a role in developing AD include an immune system that is over reactive when exposed to certain environmental conditions (extremely cold or hot climate) and other factors, namely exposure pollution, pollen, dust mites, animal dander and detergents.
If you suspect your child to have eczema, seek consult with a board-certified dermatologist for proper diagnosis and management.
Beware of beauty treatments claiming to be “the first and the only” of its kind in the whole world. If it was that treatment good enough, many others would have followed even before it reached you.
An acne patient goes to a “skin clinic” for her problem and is prescribed FRACTIONAL LASER. Of course there was no improvement in her condition and this is how she looked like after a few sessions.
Please be reminded that acne can not be managed with “sessions” with a facial center, nor can there be an instant, magical cure, like what they show you in social media.
Board certified dermatologists are the go-to specialists for real skin problems. We follow international clinical practice guidelines to make sure that you are well and forever happy with the results.
Lasers are not the solution to all skin problems.
You need a board certified dermatologist to help you with that.
Everybody needs self care. Our clinic is closed on sundays. Please do not ask us again.
Please call or text our clinic number 09150772086 if you want to “book an appointment” or ask questions about schedule.
We can not respond immediately to queries on messenger.
Treatments have timelines. Results are expected after a certain period of time. Discuss specific timelines with your dermatologist.
Please be informed that making a diagnosis of a patient’s condition and prescribing treatment constitutes practice of medicine. Individuals who perform procedures, prescribe drugs and injectables without the supervision of a licensed physician is practicing medicine illegally.
Please be warned.
Stay safe and stay healthy.
FALSE ADVERTISING ALERT.
There is NO PROCEDURE that can remove scars and pigmentations in just MINUTES. This is false advertising.
Scars are permanent. You can improve its appearance but the scars remain. Treatment of scars takes time. Even with lasers. Pigmentations are even more problematic, and they keep on coming back. You need a cost effective maintenance for pigmentation since there is really no one-time-big-time treatment.
But I guess, only a board certified dermatologist will tell you this.
Please be informed that we do not discuss professional fees or prices online. You may call our number 09150772086.
There is an ad presenting a very negative image of dermatology clinics, just like jails. They are trying their best to eliminate the role of the specialist, the DERMATOLOGIST in the treatment of skin diseases.
This can be very dangerous.
Only a dermatologist can prescribe the best and most effective treatment for the patient. An advertisement will never be able to compete.

Why see a dermatologist? The skin is the fabric of beauty. It is the material from which all treatment is directed. Like clothing, even the best cut can not improve on defective fabric. Material comes first.
A consultation with your dermatologist is so worth it. You will be able to discuss and better understand the causes of your skin problems and together formulate an individualized plan for your treatment.
