LOOK: Earlier this morning, the aspiring student leaders attended the orientation regarding the Supreme Elementary Learner Government Election.

Mr. Cabantog, the Student Government Adviser, discussed the screening process, the duties and responsibilities of each position, and the application process.

If you are an inspiring student leader, please attend the orientation on Monday, May 29, 2023, in Sir Dhan Cabantog’s room at 11:00 AM for the guidelines and essential information regarding the Supreme Elementary Learner Government Election.

LOOK: Earlier this morning, the select Supreme Pupil Government Officers of the current school year from the Grade 6 level roamed Grades 2 to 5 classrooms to disseminate information regarding the upcoming Supreme Elementary Learner Government Election.

Formerly known as Supreme Pupil Government (SPG), the Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG) holds a vital role in shaping our school environment. As elected representatives, you will collaborate with teachers, school personnel, and fellow students to address student concerns, organize events, and propose initiatives that enhance our educational experience.

In line with the School Year 2023-2024 preparations, the student body will elect a new breed of young school leaders through the SELG. This is an incredible opportunity for you to make a difference, showcase your leadership skills, and actively contribute to our school community.

Malitlit ES shall implement distance learning (modular learning) from November 2-4, 2022. The resumption of in-person classes shall be on November 7, 2022.

Parents, as the most critical stakeholders of the school, can uplift the status of the school. They will act as significant others in the school to assist the teachers in fostering lifelong skills for learners.

Their privilege to lead on behalf of the parents is of immense help, especially now that the school is gearing towards sustaining the new normal realm.

LOOK: MalES teachers and learners participated in the nationwide simultaneous earthquake drill.

Mr. Quirante, the DRRM Coordinator, spearheaded the drill. He recalled the recent magnitude 7.0 earthquake in Abra and the ground shaking in other parts of the country to understand further why the school conducts such trainings. He emphasized the significance of performing exercises to avoid mishaps in the future.

Today, we celebrate National Heroes Day as we praise all individuals who sacrificed their lives to achieve our independence.

We dedicate this day to remembering the bravery of our national heroes and modern heroes of today.

To the woman behind every success of the Malitlit teacher, thank you is not enough for everything you have done for the Malitlit community. Your selfless acts made a huge difference to the performance of the school. The positive aura you possess radiates among us and contributes to the easiness of our works. You made heavy things light by inculcating in us that toughness can be shown by being weak yet strong.

As you leave MalES, we will forever instill the significance of togetherness to achieve more significant opportunities for our learners. That is one thing that you keep on reminding us that we have to sail in one boat.

You indeed left a mark on the lives of Malitlit teachers, parents, and learners.

Yes! You read it right. Tomorrow is the big day for all Malitlit learners.

Set your alarms ahead because tomorrow is the start of face-to-face classes, at least for Kindergarten to Grade 2, and on Tuesday for Grades 3 to 6, for the school year 2022 - 2023.

We can not wait to welcome you all and make learning fun and exciting at school.
