Maraming Salamat sa lahat ng nagpapaabot ng pagbati. Masaya kong ipinagdiriwang ang araw na ito dahil sa inyong pagmamahal, suporta at tiwala.

Naging mas makabuluhan ang buhay ko dahil sa bawat batang napakapalad kong makilala at makasama sa tinatahak nilang landas, sa gitna ng mga pagsubok, upang tuluyan ng maging malusog, masigla, ng may “masasayang” puso.

I have been blessed and it is all because of you. Thank you everyone - parents and loved ones. But more importantly, thank you kids. You have touched and changed my life in so many wonderful ways. I love each and everyone of you, my babies.❤️

What a long week of physical pains…literally. As you know, I still haven’t fully recovered from my fall. Add this incapacitating migraine and I’m practically rendered “disabled”. So many changes of plans this week because I would always want to be at my 100% so my apologies for unanswered calls and messages, cancelled clinics and referrals not seen.

Still, this week has been truly amazing. Keith has been discharged. Conrad is about to go home. Maika is back at the wards. And Hillary is recovering wonderfully at the SICU.

So as always, thank you GOD for pulling me through this week. Mahirap pero kinaya pa din.💪🏻

And this is Madam Gela who had her open heart surgery last June and has gained so much weight and been such a happy kid since then.

Ilaw sa Operating Room

Literal na nagbibigay ng liwanag…sa pusong hindi buo at “masaya”…sa pusong kailangan ng tulong…sa pusong pagod na lumaban. Para makapagbigay ng pag-asa, ng kulay sa isang batang ang tanging hiling lamang ay makapag-feed ng hindi putol-putol, makatakbo ng walang hingal, magkaroon ng mapulang labi at hindi ang tila kinulayan ng asul na candy.

Ito rin ang mismong ilaw na aking tinititigan sa mga panahong may desisyong kailangan gawin sa loob mismo ng operating room at habang hinihintay kung ang desisyon na iyon ay tama at best para sa pasyente.

Nakiusap din po ako kay Ma'am Gigi not to schedule a lot and just to give way sa mga patients po na lumuwas pa ng Manila for consultation.
