Magandang araw po. Sa mga nagtatanong po kung maaari pa po na mag-enroll sa BSHS-ALS, ang dapat pong bilang ng learners sa bawat klase ay 30 po lamang pero umabot na po ngayon ang bilang sa 70 higit na po sa doble ng tamang bilang kaya kailangan na po na ihinto ang pagtanggap ng learners.

Mayroon din pong ALS sa BSES at sa Barangay. Salamat po sa pag-unawa.

Magandang araw ALSilanganians. Ito na po ang final list ng mga ALS Learners ng Bagong Silangan High School ALS Learning Center. Sa mga learners na nasa talaan, tiyaking kayo ay may katibayan na nagtapos ng Elementarya at 16 na taong gulang na pataas.

Bilang pangunahing requirement sa klase, kayo ay inaatasang lumikha ng gmail at fb/messenger account gamit ang buo ninyong pangalan na nakalagay sa talaan at gamit din ang inyong larawan na tulad ng sa mga ID sa paaralan. Pagkatapos makagawa ng account ay i-pm po si Ginoong Galang (FB Account) gamit ang inyong account na gamit ang buo ninyong pangalan na nasa listahan sa ibaba upang maisali kayo sa GC. Tandaan na tanging ang mga account na ang pangalan ay nasa listahan lamang ang tatanggapin sa GC. Salamat po.

Distance Learning Ready| 176, 000 Samsung Tablets na may 10 GB monthly data, ipagagamit ng QC LGU sa mga Grade 7 -12

Handa na ang Lungsod Quezon para sa distance learning sa nalalapit na pasukan sa Oktubre 5.

Matangi sa mga self-learning modules na iniimprenta na sa mga paaralan, isa pa sa gagamiting modality para sa Distance Learning ng mga mag-aaral bunsod ng Coronavirus Pandemic ang online learning.

Sa press briefing kagabi sa Quezon City Hall inianunsiyo ni Mayor Joy Belmonte na nai-award na ng pamahalaang lungsod ng Quezon ang kontrata para sa pagsu-supply ng 176, 000 Samsung Tablets na ipagagamit sa mga mag-aaral mula sa Grade 7 hanggang 12 sa mga paaralang pampubliko ng lungsod.

Nagkakahalaga ang kontrata ng 1.2 billion pesos, kung saan bawat unit ay nagkakahalaga naman ng Php 6950.

Matapos ang masusing bidding procedure sinabi ni Mayor Belmonte na nais nilang kalidad na produkto ang magamit ng mga mag-aaral ng lungsod tulad sa mga pribadong paaralan.

“Our goal for this project is to ensure that the gadgets of our public school students are at par with those of their private school peers,” ani Belmonte.

Ilan sa minimum tablet specifications na itinakda ng pamahalaang lungsod para sa bibilhing tablet ay quad-core, minimum operating system (Android 9), may internal memory na 32 GB ROM + 2 GB RAM, may minimum micro SD storage capacity na aabot sa 256 GB, may at least 5-megapixel rear camera, at 2-megapixel front camera. Kailangan din na ang tablet ay may WiFi or WLAN connectivity.

Lahat ng specifications na nabanggit ay nasa napiling Galaxy Tab A ng Samsung.

Nagpahayag naman ng pagpapasalamat si Belmonte sa Samsung Corporation sa pagbababa nito ng presyo mula sa suggested retail price na Php 7990 tungong Php 6950 upang umabot sa budget ng lungsod na Php 7000 kada unit.

“Samsung is one of the leading global brands when it comes to cutting-edge gadgets and electronics. We are fully aware of its outstanding track record and we are confident that they can provide good quality tablets to our students that will last for years,” pahayag ng alkalde.

Lalagyan ng Samsung ng special safety features ang mga tablet upang matiyak na sa pag-aaral lamang magagamit ng mga mag-aaral. Ilan dito ay ang hindi maaaring makapag-download ng games at mga social media apps na hindi kakailanganin. Aalisin din ang access sa mga hindi ligtas na websites at applications.

Upang matiyak na may access ang lahat ng mga mag-aaral, bawat tablet ay bibigyan ng 10 GB monthly data.

Mananatiling pag-aari ng pamahalaang lungsod ang mga tablet. Kailangang ibalik ito ng mga mag-aaral sa pagtatapos ng klase. Pananagutan din ng mga magulang kung ito ay mawala o masira.

Galing ang pondo ng proyekto sa Special Education Fund na pinagtibay ng Local School Board ng lungsod bilang suporta sa learning continuity program ng Lungsod Quezon.
