Today is World Su***de Prevention Day.
This year's theme for World Su***de Prevention Day is "Changing the Narrative on Su***de".
Su***de is a serious public health problem that requires a public health response. For so long, it has been stigmatized and misunderstood.
World Su***de Prevention Day aims not only for this issue to be discussed but calls for action, and it starts with you and me.
By starting the conversation, we can change the narrative on su***de. Together, lets raise awareness and reduce stigma.

The QMMC Department of Psychiatry and Mental Health would like to introduce the first mobile app for mental health care by the Department of Health.
In celebration of National Mental Health Week, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Philippine Department of Health (DOH) launched Lusog-Isip – the country’s first mobile application for mental health and self-care.
Developed by USAID and DOH in response to the growing need for mental healthcare during the COVID-19 pandemic, the app was soft-launched during the 4th Public Health Convention on Mental Health held on October 15. It will be available for both Android and iOS devices through the Google Playstore and Apple App Store.
Lusog-Isip is the first mobile app for mental health and self-care culturally-adapted for the Philippines. It uses evidence-based screening tools and interventions to help you on your journey towards better overall well-being and healthier coping strategies.
