I am regularly thanked after each check up, after each teaching class and I always appreciate that. Though i may feel awkward because it's my job to do a certain thing. But yes, it feels good when patients are happy. But Gratitude isn't why I do this, but hearing ‘thank you’ brings a lot of good vibes, not only in the field of medicine.
