Sharing the PSDBP’s statement on the use of stem cell for Autism and other neurodevelopmental disabilities.

At the moment, there are not yet enough research evidence and clinical trials done to show efficacy of stem cell therapy.
We encourage parents and caregivers to be careful and thoughtful in making decisions for your children. Let us work on helping your children receive and participate in valid, evidence based treatments.

I cannot be more proud of my patient Maxene… she’s a talented 7 year old girl with Autism. When I met her, Maxene loved doodling on the floor and would draw on any paper, pictures of things she remembers. Maxene is nonverbal but through art, she can express herself in beautiful ways. With full parental support, Max started art and painting classes last year and here she is now. Max is the youngest participant in this ongoing exhibit at Shangrila Mall with the participation of . Maxene is different BUT SHE IS NOT LESS. She is amazing…

To parents of kids like Max, trust, support, try, believe.
