The Intersession of SY2024-2025 is about to end. We would like to make the process of saying goodbye as easy as possible, so we hope you can take a look at the following reminders:
1. If you still have library books in your possession, unpaid printing fees, or overdue balances, AND wish to avoid having your name included in the Hold Order List, please return *all* books and settle outstanding accounts at the Circulation Counter (Ground Floor, First Pacific Hall) on or before Saturday, 20 July 2024, 5:00PM.
2. If you cannot return your books by July 20, note that your name will be AUTOMATICALLY INCLUDED IN THE HOLD ORDER LIST, and that there is no guarantee that the hold order can be removed immediately upon return of the books or payment of fines.
3. If you are not sure whether you have any outstanding balances, please go to the Circulation Counter or send an email to [email protected] to check your account.
4. Please remember that you have access to the Rizal Library’s databases until 15 August 2024. This, we hope, will encourage you to continue learning, even as you prepare for the next semester. If you have any questions regarding clearance or hold orders from the Rizal Library that are not addressed in this email, please address them to [email protected]. For all other questions, please send them to [email protected].

Congratulations, Dr. Chas Navarro!
Dr. Navarro, Director of the University Archives, was sworn in as a commissioner of the National Historical Commission of the Philippines yesterday, 15 May 2024.
Dr. Navarro has a Doctorate in Archival Studies and Documentation from the Universidad de Salamanca in Spain. He started teaching in Ateneo de Manila University in 2013, and was appointed to the University Archives in 2022. He is also currently the President of the Philippine Historical Association.
Rizal Library Rockwell will be closed on May 17 and 18 for their Team Building and R&R, respectively.
