Thank you for the opportunity tobe part of the vision of Roxas City LGU, "Bigger, Brighter, Better" for a collaborative project with ITL Architects, for the Roxas City Hall Facade retrofitting under us and the the developement of Paseo de Roxas under the ITL Architects

Thank you Mayor Ronnie Dadivas for your trust and confidence that you have entrusted to us as well as recognizing the profession of architects in the design of habitable structures.

Looking forward for adopting the RA 9266 in our locality to enhance the design of the public and commercial buildings especiially in terms of the BP344 (accesibilty Law for PWD) compliance in which only the architects are specialized adopting this law in our design as per part of the curriculum in our course.

Our Story

KOINOARCH Architects + Planners is a boutique architectural, interior, graphics, construction and project management firm founded way-back in 2010. The firm is the reminiscent of the E.L Demingoy Architects, which started its “remote/ overseas” practice in Singapore (1995-2010) in which Ar. Eric L. Demingoy, the firms Principal Architect is working as Senior Designer and Project Manager in some well known local base and multi-national design firms in Singapore.

Koinoarch- where inspired from the Greek word “Koinos, Koinonia ” which means fellowship, where inspired by the brotherly bonding of firm’s early partners who were they are of the same Born-Again Christian church in Singapore, the Word International Ministries…. Thus Koinoarch Architects + Planners were born; the” fellowship of the architects”.

DESIGN ADAPTATION - “Koinoarch” , as the firm is fondly called, is well known for its contemporary, tropical-Asian strokes, a combination of wide roof eaves, “butterfly roofs”, heaven bound roof directions, but does not for aesthetic look only but more for the solutions of the problem that we have experienced in today’s climate change. Having this kind of roof profile, maximizes the ceiling height inside and able to let the light penetrates inside the house but screen the glare thru wide roof eaves. Butterfly roofs maximize the rain water harvesting that is always incorporated in every firm’s designed projects.

PHILOSOPHY – The above forms and reasons manifest the firm’s philosophy of “taking care the 3 Ps”- the People (Client and stakeholders), the Place (environment), and Profit( return of investment; either monetary or tangible asset). All must be address fairly and properly to make the project a success. The firm is committed to produce a quality good design that focus on the protection of environment so that the habitat who are dwelling on it will gain from what-ever sustainable result of the design that was been offered.

“We build to Live” – and to live is Christ and to die is gain; our tag line anchored on the biblical principle base on Philippians 1:21, our projects, our work is not the reason of living but rather a means for us to sustain our life here on Earth, as the main reason of Living is Christ Himself, we are steward for the projects and works that He blesses us. This is the convection of the company, to be a channel of blessings to others, as the firm’s principal is a faithful believer and disciple of Christ being a member of Destiny City Church.

2010-2017 – After 7 years of its presence in the local market, the firm able to designed and builds numerous projects. From a small scale residential houses to a bigger scale commercial building not only in Roxas City /Capiz but also in Luzon and Manila Area. The firm where able to produces licensed architects, one of whom is Principal Architect’s son, Ar. JORIC A. DEMINGOY the Principal Partner, who is in Qatar working in a design firm to gain knowledge and experience in international scene, that help abreast the firms exposure in the latest technology and global standard in the field of architectural and building industry as he is always in touch with the firms on- going projects and continually share his inputs, insights in every firms projects.

In preparation to play in a global market and its integration to Asian neighbors, the firm collaborated with some overseas partners to be able to cope up the changing environment of the design practice.

Demingoy, a rallying statement during the design process of every project. Thus every firm’s project is the result of the best options, ideas and design that the firm can give. The firm believed in excellent design, performing a above standard of professionalism and a strong collaborations with other consultants and with client itself. The emphasis of was on quality of design, planning and project management. The firm strived to achieve this objective in order to maintain its competitiveness and high standard of architectural practice. The firm take pride in uncompromising strive for perfection in its work standard and commitment to its clients as it take part of building client’s dream-house and creating an ideal work environment.
