Tree Planting 🍀

The Inner Wheel Club of San Fernando La Union District 379 actively participated in the Collaboration Project of District 379 Clubs with a Theme "Tree Planting with a Heart One Tree, One Life Save Trees and Save the Planet" last August 20, 2024 at the Evacuation Center in Barangay Lareglareg, Malasiqui, Pangasinan where a total of 150 fruit bearing seedlings were planted.
The project was initiated by IWC Malasique under President Marlene Macaraeg and was personally led by no less than our very own District Chairman Vyan Venice Chua Armas. And participated by 13 clubs of District 379 .
Saving Mother Earth is our common goal and working together is a successful journey of Selflessness in Friendship and Service to Humanity.

This is in support to the 3rd "House of Love" Project of Love Radio, Aksyon Radyo and Rotary Club of San Fernando La Union.

The Inner Wheel Club of San Fernando La Union District 379 conducted a Community- Based Mental Health Program on August 6, 2024 in Barangay Cabalayangan, Bauang, La Union in partnership with the La Union Multi-Sectoral Governance Council, Provincial Health Office, Office of the Provincial Agriculture and the Rotary Club of San Fernando La Union. The activity included lectures on mental health and anti-teenage pregnancy. For its part, the Inner Wheel Club of San Fernando La Union through its President Lorna Paragas share the advocacy of Inner Wheel particularly to women, elderly and children as well as the forthcoming IWC projects in the province. A total of 115 farmers attended the event.

The Inner Wheel Club of San Fernando La Union D379 together with McDonalds San Fernando La Union conducted another ISEM: Make a Child Smile Outreach Program for 35 pupils of Catbangen Central School San Fernando City, La Union.
The IWCSFLU members together with our partner prepared games for the kids and shared some prizes. The kids also received McDonald's hats, bags, aprons, pouches, t-shirts, meals, toys and school supplies.
Aside from all of this. A surprise visit of McDonald's mascot "Hamburglar" entertain them with dance and photo ops.

The Inner Wheel Club of San Fernando La Union D379 joined the Make a Child Smile project at Pao Norte, San Fernando City, La Union. This project was initiated by the Rotary Club of San Fernando La Union and Rotaract Club of La Union, with partners La Union Dental Society and Lorma Medical Center.
The following projects were conducted for all 104 pupils of the Pao Elementary School from Kinder to Grade 6.
☑️Giving of school supplies, gifts, and snacks
☑️Free haircuts for pupils and teachers
☑️D.E.A.R. Project - donations of books
☑️Brigada Eskwela - donation of faucets and paints for the handwashing facilities, painting of handwash area walls
☑️lecture on proper oral health and free fluoride application
☑️lecture on proper handwashing
☑️donation of tarpaulin for proper handwashing and proper oral health
☑️donation of hygiene and dental kits
☑️donation of Cacao seedlings and vegetable seeds
☑️vegetable gardening and cacao tree planting
