A bit overwhelmed by the inquiries I’ve been getting about the Padayon Bag. Thank you so much!
So far the ones you are seeing are gifts for loved ones. This one here is for my niece.
Now trying to make some to sell, but I can only crochet so much in a day. Remember these are made one stitch at a time (being OC slows me down more), so will be offering them as limited edition pieces.
Will be posting availability and prices once ready. Please stay tuned ♡

Why cotton yarn?
• natural + biodegradable
• hypoallergenic + safe for babies
• washable + can be exposed to heat

My Signature Bag.
Not sure how to tell the story but will try….
The past few years have been difficult. Coming to terms with an illness that has limited my ability to interact with the world… Everyday, I have to reimagine the ways that I can reach out, participate in life, and make my presence felt.
Crochet is my redirect, and ProjectPullthrough is my voice in stills + reels.
Here, I hope to carry on.
Ituloy ang kwento.

First batch of my freehand, one-off kiss clasp purses back in 2022. Handmade all the way. All gifted.
Our sweet in his natural habitat. He loves to watch me crochet. He stays close enough for a cuddle, but gives me space enough to do my craft.
Soba knows that yarns and hooks are off limits (that tangle is all me). This dog knows boundaries. He is one distraction that is most welcome. We all need one.
After two years of fiddling, finally landed on a signature crochet bag design that I am proud to call my own.
More to come.
Stitching the kiss clasp, is, for me, the least enjoyable part of making crochet purses. My death grip + OCness make for sore hands every time. I am also obsessed about making sure it’s sturdy, so I hand stitch more rounds than necessary. Then theres the issue of the holes being inflexible, so I always struggle with my fingers being pricked, and the thread getting tangled. Not. fun. at. all.
Just goes to show how much work goes into crochet. This is, at most, a 4x5 item, but it holds all my effort and intention. Every handmade piece is an entire universe of a person.
Not really a fan of , so I was pleasantly surprised at how elegant this turned out. I had to make one because it was requested by my daughters. All that’s missing is the kiss clasp.
My own pattern. Made of local, pure cotton yarn. Will share the final product in a separate post.
One off color work purses. Freehand.
I prefer some autonomy in crocheting, especially when it comes to color. I like the surprise.
Sometimes the colors + stitches work, sometimes they don’t. But this type of project allows you to explore and experiment with the satisfaction of a quickly finished product (you just have to get through the challenge of attaching the kiss clasp).
My crochet blanket. From pure cotton yarn. Years in the making (with so many froggings + frustrations in between). Will still make this bigger, as big my remaining yarns would let me.
While the design is not difficult, I find myself unable to fudge regardless of how far back I needed to restart. This one needs precision and focus, which is to say it will try your patience. Nonetheless, it’s so satisfying when you reach a certain size, and the pattern becomes clear and all those panes line up. The key is to have grit that overcomes the giving up.
I guess in crochet, like in life, meaning does emerge from a wake of frogs and snags.
It’s a war of attrition. Just keep on.

Hi, I am Dada of and this is my new site. ♡
While our chalk paint brand continues to thrive, truth is, it’s been hard for me to create paint related content. I need a more manageable venue for creative expression, without disrupting my original feed.
So welcome to . Here I will share crochet adventures, with some branding stories and personal musings. This will be my space for calm and comfort, and may you find the same when you come by.
Project Recoveries remains our only brand though. Here is where I tinker and try to be more candid in my posts.
This is a life story in snags, stitches, strays + stays. Only threads of courage and compassion are allowed.
