In commemoration of San Roque's Feast Day, which we believe to have miraculously treated plague victims, we recognized and had a sacred mass, which was followed by a solemn procession last Friday, August 16, throughout our parish vicinity.
As an example of compassion, humility, and faith, San Roque dedicated his life to helping the ill and impoverished. Despite giving away his fortune to treat plague victims, he acquired the disease himself. Unexpectedly, a dog appeared to be by his side, providing him with care and support until he recovered.
Let us pray for San Roque's intercession to help us on our spiritual path, to give us the fortitude to endure hardships, and to motivate us to be messengers of God's mercy and healing in the world. May his prayers console those who are struggling and fill our hearts with consolation and hope. Amen.

Yesterday, August 11, our parish conducted a Farewell Mass as a sign of love and thanksgiving for the Visit of the Pilgrim Image of Nuestra Seรฑora de Aranzazu.
The three-day visit of the Pilgrim Image to our parish serves as a reminder to all of us Catholics that Mother Mary is the Queen of Heaven and that we have a lot of different images to show it.
May this visit help us get a lot closer to Mary and a deeper connection with God, and may we continue to adore the beauty of the Virgin of Aranzazu even after her visit.
Being the host of this Image was a huge honor for our parish. We are very grateful for the opportunity to be blessed and graced by your presence.

During the Visit of the Pilgrim Image of Nuestra Seรฑora De Aranzazu, Canonical Crowned Virgin and Patron of San Mateo, Rizal, we organized a Triduum and activities to honor the Blessed Mother's Rosary and works.
Yesterday evening, our parish orchestrated a Harana Kay Maria to commemorate and venerate the Virgin Mary by means of prayer and singing, with several ministries and organizations joining their voices in offering to the Blessed Mother.
May the visit of the Virgin of Aranzazu help us recognize the different images of Mother Mary that represent her as the Queen of Heaven and Earth, including the modern Eve. Let us continue to recite the Rosary through Mary in order to draw closer to God and keep a strong connection with Him.
