Join me!:) I am a person with lived experience/ADHD, solo parent, a mother of 4 children - 2 of which have disabilities, ADHD and autism. Ate po ako.

Welcome!:) I'm Mona, a mom of 4 awesome kids, solo parent, advocating for PWDs, autism&ADHD, mental health, VAWC, the environment and the Barangay.:) I lobby for the FOI, Social Watch Philippines, the ASEAN Enabling Masterplan & the SDG 2030. Zuckerberg May the Lord of peace give you His peace at all times and in every way. May the Lord be with you all. 2 Thessalonians 3:16

I just saw your post about two mos ago, where you got into an accident. Now, I say this with much love, as a sister in Christ. If you are bored, please go out and look out for the persons with disabilities all over the world. You don't have to be one of us to really help. Anyways, still, you already have an experience of a temporary disability, maybe God has a purpose in that. :)

I hope you can look into the area of where your platform is being used all over the world to sow war and discord. There is so many people acquiring disability because of wars. Please do not allow your platform to be weaponized. Please STAY TRUE to the mission of Facebook to give people the power to BUILD COMMUNITY and bring the world closer TOGETHER. Let me say that I super appreciate your platform because I use it intensively for campaigning for the SDGs and disability rights and welfare in our country (CRPD). :)

Usually, they just count the deaths, but the disabilities, they don't. 🙁 I think disability is worse than death. 😢 It's a lifetime. 😢

Your wife is a doctor, a pediatrician. I am sure she fully understands what I am talking about. We need to study the long term cost of disability in US veterans, their families-especially children of US veterans who develop mental health issues and perinatal costs to children (brought about by maternal stress), lifetime costs of assistive devices, cost of care, lifetime cost of medicines, lifetime cost of lost work opportunities to disabled military veterans (including their families and communities), and the collective social cost of their disability to the community like lost livelihood and the opportunity cost of lost livelihood to their communities. We need to also study the cost of intergenerational trauma vis-à-vis the life span of this group of individuals and the generations they influence-children and grandchildren. I believe there should be a P/E ratio on these because the US is drastically being overtaken by China (and maybe even more so by BRIC as a whole). They need to study the collective cost of these wars from Vietnam, Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, and now Ukraine. If you are so inclined, maybe you can even study it from the American Civil War up to the present. I can sense a collective guilt of the white population because of slavery and genocide and all. These impact physical health too.

There is an even bigger drug war problem in the US. However, the powers that be through the ICC is impinging in the sovereignty of the Phils by going after former Pres Duterte and VP Sara Duterte. The fentanyl crisis in the US is worse. You know I saw this video that it was the US servicemen themselves who trafficked o***m to the US during the Vietnam war. Why? I think it is to self-soothe their pain from fighting a pointless war and causing the death of thousands upon thousands of civilians, this is very evident now. Maybe you can look at this study and other studies like it, Substance use disorders in military veterans: prevalence and treatment challenges - https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5587184/ We cannot just solve the symptoms. We need to find the root cause of these problems and address them.

I firmly believe that war is not the solution to propping up the US economy or any economy for that matter. Since you are in the US and have far more resources than I do, I think you have more information on this. China grew by focusing on fundamentals/the basics of raising their country from poverty, while the US deteriorated because it lost in focus on vision and values. As a nation, I think the US has developed a sort of mental disorder because of all the wars it has exported the world and the horrors your enlisted men witnessed as participants to these wars.

I hope you can help Vivek Ramaswamy. He wants to help keep the values of the American nation for his children. I think you understand that because you have children yourself. In my own way, I am doing this advocacy for persons with disability because my children where also diagnosed with disabilities.

Please help Elon Musk too. He is doing his best to protect freedom of speech/expression. We need to safeguard the TRUTH. I enrolled in law school this semester. One of my professors, a high-ranking judge told us that there is a big mental health problem in our justice system. I think it's because of the bastardization of truth. I saw this study about the link of lying to mental health. Study: Telling fewer lies linked to better health and relationships, https://news.nd.edu/news/study-telling-fewer-lies-linked-to-better-health-relationships/ and vice versa, Surprising effects of telling lies on our mental healthhttps://www.reflectivejournals.com/download/51/3-1-7.pdf "Many researchers have shown that telling lies has an increased
risk of CANCER, Obesity, anxiety, depression, addiction
gambling, poor work satisfaction and poor relationship with
others. So the liars create physical and emotional problems for
themselves and for others also." US Defence Secretary Lloyd Austin has cancer. :'( In the Philippines, cancer is classified as a disability. :(

Personally, I have witnessed the effects of broken men (from WWII) raising children. My parents and the parents of my husband are broken people because they are fathered by broken men. I think the trauma has been carried to us and has affected us personally and our marriage. I am determined to break this cycle in Filipino families. I hope you can do the same for the American people. Let's be CYCLE BREAKERS.

Instead of investing in wars, I think the US needs to invest more on their people, human capital development. China and India have far more professionals per capita than the US. No wonder they are being overtaken. The PEOPLE are still the most valuable resource of the country. Your company can reach the whole world. I think you are in the best position to influence TRUTH. We need to begin healing the world. Please help.

I passed the FINRA Series 7 and 63 so I understand the economics of this. I am really concerned about the US economy tanking because a lot of Filipinos live in the US. Personally, I have a lot of personal friends and family who live in the US. I am concerned about them. I don’t want war. As a disability consultant, I don’t want to have to measure/count all the persons, especially children, who develop a disability anywhere because of the war, especially if that war eventually goes to our shores. We have a lot of problems in the disability sector as it is, especially for children with disabilities. We definitely don’t need more. We need to study the effects of vicarious trauma to your people and all people who have worked with war all war initiatives.

You are a very intelligent man, I am sure you understand that a lot of countries depend on the US dollar. If the US tanks, you take the whole world with you. 🙁

I am praying for the American nation. I pray you are the instrument that God uses to bring lasting peace to the world. God bless you always and all your teams.

“Of all evils of war the greatest is the purely spiritual evil: the hatred, the injustice, the repudiation of truth, the artificial conflict.”

Posse comitatus.

This principle prevents the US armed forces from using its power against its citizens. They can fight their wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, Philippines, but not in US soil.

Their threat is EXTERNAL.

This principle cannot be applied in the Philippines, to the AFP. Because our lingering threat is INTERNAL.

Thus this question- Why can't our AFP soldiers have the same support from our fellow citizens, like these Americans support theirs?

Is it because they don't have talent? No

Is it because they're not as good-looking? No

Is it because they're not properly paid? No

So why?

Because they're asked to fight the wars that their politicos create.

It is not in distant lands across oceans, but in our own remote villages where people are so marginalized because of CORRUPTION in the highest offices.

Because these wars create divisiveness to our already fractured and fragmented society aggravated by a corrupt political PATRONAGE system.

Because the same politicos nurture HATE for our soldiers fighting to secure our people from all threats.

The same politicos CUDDLE the very same enemies of the state who have been killing our children, our livelihood, and democratic way of life.

The same politicos SLEEP with the enemy in the hope that they will get some political support from these DUPLICITOUS evil cothed in sheep's wool.

Insurgency is propaganda war. It is political in nature and it cannot be won through the barrel of the gun.

This is the reason why the NTF ELCAC was created through EO 70.

It enhances GOOD GOVERNANCE at the grass roots level and up.

It educates the people about the evils of the CPPNPANDF threat and how they lurk in our midst.

In our schools.
Our place of work.
Our church.
Our highest offices.

In CONGRESS.

The AFP has already reached the peak of its trust rating. It has become the most trusted agency of the government.

But it will never be able to achieve anything higher because people hurt by this internal war will never clap for them.

The politicos holding the levers and benefiting from their alliances with the enemy will always bring them down.

Insurgency is protracted.
To end it we should be witty and quick to discern how it is being REVIVED by the same politicos and generals we thought could grasp the nature of this war.

The sooner we understand this dynamics, the quicker we are able to protect our gains which we missed in the last 54 years.

URGENCY is key to this protracted war and it smacks right in the insURGENCY situation we are in.

Understand it.

Lest be SILENCED by it.

Hello to all po. :) I am so happy. :) I can finally access my old pictures. :)

Day 5 of Over the last 15 years, the number of childhood deaths has been cut in half. This proves that it is possible to win the fight against almost every disease. Still, we are spending an astonishing amount of money and resources on treating illnesses that are surprisingly easy to prevent. The new goal for worldwide Good Health promotes healthy lifestyles, preventive measures and modern, efficient healthcare for everyone.

Salamat po sa lahat ng nag follow sa page ko.:) I hope we can all share the advocacy of a better community for us, our families and the future generation.:) God bless!:)

If you like anything feel free to share din po.:)

Day 5 of *What is activism? I think yung pa-rally-rally sa kalsada is so passe'/laos na/super fake. For me, real activism is forging real change sa puso at isipan ng mga tao. Real activism starts with the self, being the best human being we can be. Hindi magulo o maingay kundi maayos at matiwasay. Real activism is building up and not tearing down. If we must tear down at negativity, we do so buy building up positive change.

Sa pagpapatuloy..
Hunger is the leading cause of death in the world. Our planet has provided us with tremendous resources, but unequal access and inefficient handling leaves millions of people malnourished. If we promote sustainable agriculture with modern technologies and fair distribution systems, we can sustain the whole world’s population and make sure that nobody will ever suffer from hunger again.

Day 4 of This is important for me kasi nakikita ko po na yung kahirapan ay nagsasanga ng iba pang problema sa lipunan, kagaya ng poor health, access to education, disease, disability, mental health, abuses, and even crime. Yung government bilang prime enabler ng lipunan natin can do a lot. If we cooperate and work together with government, mas malaki pa po yung impact nun.

Philippine legal body supports FOI bill 03/12/2021

READ | “The FOI might just be the best tool to ensure that corruption and other illegal acts will no longer be perpetrated under a regime of full disclosure, and complete access to information of vital interest to the general public, subject to a few exceptions to afford protection to personal privacy, and proprietary and commercial information,” Ureta told Asia Business Law Journal.

Bkit? Kasi meron na po silang action plans breaking down the big goals to bite size pieces.

"The Sustainable Development Goals are a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet and improve the lives and prospects of everyone, everywhere. The 17 Goals were adopted by all UN Member States in 2015, as part of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development which set out a 15-year plan to achieve the Goals."

THE 17 GOALS | Sustainable Development 01/12/2021

Day 1 of Nasabi ko na po ito many times before ang kailangan po natin ay organizational culture change. Mahirap pong gawin pero kaya. Sabi nga po, what the mind can conceive, the body can achieve. Ang kailangan po ay commitment to work on it.

Sana po you can join me. Sa totoo lang po, natatakot po akong manalo, even if I filed my COC kasi alam ko po how hard it is to effect these changes. Hindi lang po isang tao ang nag caution about my safety risks of life and limb.:( Yung burden po sa heart ko ay kung walang magsisimula, sino? Nung una po, gusto ko lang po talagang mangulit ng wagas like I have done in the past. Gusto ko lang pong magtrabaho behind the scenes, quietly writing about my advocacies. This time po nakikita ko na people need direction and someone has to volunteer for it. I won’t live forever. Nobody does. Kahit ano po sanang mangyari, I hope others can pick up where I leave off.

I really hope you EVERYONE can study these with me kasi WE need professionals to TEACH, ACT and IMPLEMENT these. Whether I become Mayor or not, sana po WE, the people of San Miguel, Bulacan, can make these happen. Wala po akong monopolyo on these policies and programs. Any leader can effect it, provided they have the WILL to do it.

3. ASEAN Enabling Masterplan.

a. Education - ensure access to education for all persons with disability regardless of age and condition.

b. Employment or Livelihood - We need to ensure everyone has access to viable livelihood or employment para di sila dependent sa welfare.

c. Participation - we need a fully functional PDAO office with highly capable staff and equipment. We need to make sure na makaboto po bawat PWD and their families. We need to have PWD representatives(CSOs/DPOs) in the Local Council po. We want active participation of PWDs in the Barangay and our LGU po. Sana po you can comply dun po sa 5% employment of PWDs na requirement and we can encourage 1% employment a mga private business of PWDs.

d. Accessibility - we want all businesses to be PWD friendly. If all of our private and public establishments can be PWD friendly, meaning accessible. This will promote our town as a tourist destination. There is money in accessible tourism. I will share my write up for DOTR and Congress to you din.

THE 17 GOALS | Sustainable Development 18/11/2021

I am running on a platform to benefit our community. I would rather fail trying than to not try at all.:) Also, I have agonized for many months over that decision, ngayon pa po bang nagawa ko na tsaka pa ako aatras?:)) I want to exhibit courage. It is my hope that doing so can give the freedom for others to be courageous as well. Don’t worry po. I am well aware of the risk of life and limb for me and my family. But you know, one of the things this pandemic has taught me is that life is fleeting. I would rather do the best I can with the life God has given me, kasi di ko naman po alam if buhay pa ako bukas. I do not want to live a life of regret. I would rather LOVE(MALASAKIT), to TAKE COURAGE and not fear.

Please check the COMELEC Schedule. Our society needs rules for peace and order. We need rules to be able to exercise our full rights. The rules are our responsibility that comes with our rights.

Kung excited na po tayo, relax.:)) For the time being I am studying. Whether I become Mayor or not, as a parent, I want to be the best leader that I can be. Leadership daw po is like parenting. Also, may pagka-OC po akong tao eh. I am really geeky. I am the kind of person who will research and evaluate before I implement. If you support what I do, please study and learn with me. I post so many educational materials on my wall po. You can check it out.

Just to set the proper expectations, hindi po ako magcampaign kagaya ng ginagawang karaniwan ng mga kumakandidato. Why? I think it’s superficial(fake) and makalat.
As a Climate Reality Leader, wala po akong balak magkalat ng papel or magplaster ng mukha wherever. Climate change is upon us. Baka po pwedeng talinuhan natin at inaman yung pangangampanya without jeopardizing Mother Nature. I would rather teach people. It’s my skill. Wala din po akong balak to be in financial trouble over this campaign. I really believe that people should see elections as a hiring process and the candidates as potential employees. As a job applicant, I want to be evaluated based on my skills, capacity, and work experience. I want the recruiters(voters) to hire me based on my intelligence, initiative, integrity and servant leadership. I also don’t want to incur political debts kasi po I want to be as fair as possible to everyone. I believe it’s what leaders do.:) Just like parents who need to love equally (of course, there will be time that we need to provide special care to a sick child or a child in need), everyone should understand such needs and be one with the whole family regarding such situations.

I just want to address certain issues thrown at me po.:)
That I am too young - Life starts at 40, I am not too young po. I am in the perfect age of not accepting BS anymore. Vico Sotto was Mayor at an age much younger than me. And, I have more managerial experience than him naman po. I think we should inspire more people to serve, whatever age they are in, whatever life situation, whatever gender. I believe we should all participate and revive the spirit of bayanihan(from the word bayani). Heroism has no age. Also, since leadership is just like parenting daw po (I am a parent 4 times over), I got this.

That I should have run in a lower position - I did not run to win. I filed my certificate of candidacy to MAKE A STATEMENT and lobby people, to inspire and empower them to support the programs and policies I am advocating for. Yes, maybe I could surely win in a lower electorate position, pero hindi po yun yung point ng pagkandidato ko. Halimbawa, deadline na po ng ASEAN Enabling Masterplan sa 2025 and not much has been done about it (this is an international agreement for the welfare of persons with disabilities). I was told that it’s the Local Chief Executive who has the final word on these.

The thing is, I think, leaders need to know that they will not be elected unless they commit to the programs and policies people are clamoring for. I am more interested in long term sustainable change than position. Anybody can be Mayor (check nyo po yung COMELEC requirements for candidacy), but the thing is will the people be willing to work with the leaders to make change happen.

That I am not in the prime state of mental health - I believe advocating for the human rights and betterment of our community through peaceful and proactive means is not delusional nor having grandiose ideas or an inflated sense of self. I believe doing so is being selfless. I want to be selfless, kasi just like everyone else, I am selfish. I want a better model of living, kasi what do I gain if I lose my soul? “For the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than human strength.” 1 Cor 1:25

Pakiramdam ko nga po God allowed me to feel what it’s like to be marginalized, to care for children with special needs kasi sarili ko lang po talaga iniisip ko before. Dati, as long as I am safe in my 1st world realities in a third world country, kiber.:( Even now, when I try to run away from this, I feel dragged back. Yung message po for me is sumunod ka na lang kasi, there is no use wrestling over the Higher Being. All is well.

Because of this, I don’t care about having political machinery either. I feel what needs to be done is as a leader to reproduce myself in other people. In 2016, people have credited me for inspiring our then company peeps and other BPO workers for considering PRRD. What I did is I researched on each of the candidates' platforms and tract record, did a comparative analysis, made my choice and lobbied for that choice(PRRD). We need to be proactive as voters and do the work required of us. Ask, talk to the candidates. Choose leaders who can teach people to fish so our people can be fed for a lifetime and more. Madness is doing the same thing over and over again daw po and expecting a different result. I am not mad po. I would just rather CHANGE and DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT.

That “nasobrahan daw po ako ng talino” - I think hindi po yun yung problema kasi wisdom is always more commendable than stupidity.:)) I think ang problema po ay yung nasobrahan ng yabang or sense of self.:)) Please read Psalm 1 and yung Proverbs. Wisdom daw po is more desirable than gold and God favored Solomon kasi he did not ask for riches, long life or death of his enemies, instead he asked for WISDOM.

What I want to accomplish is a legacy of SERVANT LEADERSHIP for my children, to give them a good name, set a good example of responsible citizenry. My great grandmother left vast acres of land to her descendents as an inheritance and nothing considerable came out of it, instead strife and grief, not just for her grandchildren but for those affected by her “work”. Siguro po, ito din yung reason why I am not so much after material wealth. I pray Proverbs 30:7-9

“Two things I ask of you, Lord;
do not refuse me before I die:
Keep falsehood and lies far from me;
give me neither poverty nor riches,
but give me only my daily bread.
Otherwise, I may have too much and disown you
and say, ‘Who is the Lord?’
Or I may become poor and steal,
and so dishonor the name of my God.

Yung mahal na mahal ko po, napariwala because of running after material wealth.:( No po. I want a different life.

I believe more than the change of leadership in the upcoming 2022 Elections we need to CHANGE OURSELVES(self leadership), BE PROACTIVE and MANAGE THE BOSS. Between now and May 2022 we have 5 mos and so days to help implement the Mandanas Ruling. We can lobby for ordinances to be created for transparent and accountable governance through a Municipal FOI Ordinance. We have 171 days before May 9, 2022, ano yung ambag natin bilang mamamayan?

Panghuli, let me remind everyone what I am lobbying for. It is my hope somebody out there hears me, is willing to take courage with me, and ASK for these things (Ask and you shall receive.. Mt7:7). It is my hope that somebody out there is willing to learn these with me so we can implement it for our town. Whether I become Mayor or not hindi po yun yung importante, ang importante po ay yung KAGALINGAN(welfare) ng ating mga kababayan at susunod na henerasyon ng ating lipunan.
