The official school publication of Aplaya ES, “Aplayan Anchor” won 1st place, Best News Page Section, Elementary Level - English, National Schools Press Conference (NSPC) 2024, held in Carcar City, Cebu.

Congratulations to our Chief School Paper Adviser Sir Charles James M. Maruquez, Co-School Paper Advisers, Contributors, and Coaches! You are all part of this achievement.

ADVISORY

Due to the forecasted high temperatures this week, all PUBLIC ELEMENTARY and HIGH SCHOOLS are advised to transition to ONLINE CLASSES from Monday, May 6, to Friday, May 10.

Schools with scheduled examinations and activities may continue with face-to-face classes. However, they must take necessary precautions to ensure the safety of their students.

The City Division of Schools of Santa Rosa encourages schools to implement contingency measures to facilitate ONLINE examinations and activities.

The decision to hold classes online or in person for private schools and colleges will be at the discretion of their respective administrations.

Scout Leaders of Aplaya Elementary School were recognized for their unwavering commitment to the scouting movement during the National Court Of Honor at Monochrome Nuvali,Santa Rosa City Laguna.
Council Chairperson Hon.Arlene B. Arcillas,the City Mayor, led the ceremony together with the top officials of BSP National Office. Sctr.Arlene B. Arcillas was also conferred with Gold Tamaraw Award, the highest award given by Boy Scouts of the Philippines.

On April 18,2024 , the Santa Rosa Dental Club together with the Philippine Dental Association Laguna Chapter and the School Division Office's Dentist successfully conducted their Dental Mission at Aplaya Elementary School.

They provided free dental cleaning and fluoride varnishing. They also handed dental kits to the learners ,and conducted feeding program for them.
The mission aimed to maintain proper oral health and practice good oral hygiene habits.

ADVISORY

In order to allow learners to complete pending assignments, projects, and other requirements as the end of school year is fast-approaching, all public schools nationwide shall implement ASYNCHRONOUS CLASSES/DISTANCE LEARNING on April 15-16, 2024.

Likewise, teaching and non-teaching personnel in all public schools shall not be required to report to their respective stations.

However, activities organized by Regional and Schools Division Offices, such as Regional Athletic Association Meets and other division or school level programs, to be conducted on the aforementioned dates may push through as scheduled.

Finally, private schools shall not be covered by this advisory but shall have the option to implement the same.
