PCOL FRANCISCO B BULWAYAN Jr., 1.1K SECBCPO City Director, has deployed 1,196 security forces in strategic areas throughout Baguio City in preparation for the Spring Festival 2023 celebration on January 28, 2023.

During the Spring Festival, PNPA cadets from the MASIDTALAK class of 2023 joined the Baguio's Finest to maintain crowd control, peace, and order. More than 1,100 security personnel, including 150 Guardians volunteers, were stationed en route to the parade during the activities.

The security forces, which include 150 Guardians volunteers, assist in monitoring and securing the festival parade venue.

Cadets listened to a lecture given by PCPT. BATANES discusses the Investigation unit, its roles, and functions.
Through personal experiences and real-world scenarios, Cadets learn the fundamentals of investigation in this activity. The involvement of Cadets with Police Stations allows them to gain knowledge that cannot be taught in the classroom but can only be learned through experience.

LOOK: At about 10:00AM on January 24,2023, PNPA MASIDTALAK Class of 2023 currently assigned at BCPO-CMFC conducted an information drive promoting the PNPA. The activity aims to encourage the Grade 12 students of Happy Hollow National Highschool to take the upcoming exam PNPACAT 2023.

Qualifications for PNPA Admission

To join the maroon line, you must meet the following requirements.
-Native Filipino citizen;
-Must be between the ages of 18 and 22 by June 1, 2024;
-At least a Senior High School (SHS) Graduate and/or has satisfactorily completed all graduation requirements by July 30, 2024;
-A NORMAL BMI is required.
-Single with NO parental responsibilities;
-Must be 5'2" (158.4 cm) (barefoot) for males and 5'0 (152.4 cm) for females, according to R.A. 11549;
-PHYSICALLY AND MENTALLY FIT FOR STRONG TRAINING
-Having a good moral character (having never been convicted in a criminal, administrative, or civil case);
-There is no pending complaint or case involving moral turpitude or crimes against the state.
-Not a former PNPA or other service academy cadet

LOOK:On January 24, 2023, PNPA Cadets and members of the Baguio City Police Office, City Mobile Force Company 3rd Maneuver Platoon carried out Oplan Bakal Sita and the Implementation of Curfew for Minors within the central business district, in accordance with local ordinance and as part of the BCPO crime prevention program.
The goal of these operations is to conduct random searches for illegal fi****ms and other lethal weapons that may be possessed or controlled.OPLAN BAKAL SITA is one of the best BCPO-CMFC practices.

The police also ask, rather than force, the guests to open their bags so that the authorities can check for the presence of a firearm or other lethal weapon. The customer may or may not open his or her bag. Again, the customer is not compelled to do anything. Anyone who refuses to comply with the request, on the other hand, may give the impression that contraband is being hidden.

The lecture focused on the methods or procedures the city police department uses to keep the city safe and orderly. Only we the law enforcement ofdicers, examine and analyze the operational area in order to implement the most efdective operational strategies in order to achieve the objectives of the public safety and the maintenance of peace and order.

The most fundamental police and the foundation of law enforcement is patrol operation. This kind of police station is taken to limit criminal's opportunities and lessen the possibility that people will come victims of crime. Responding to requests for assistance and intervention is also part of it.

Bantasan responded and assisted a senior citizen who fainted and suffered a head injury from the impact of falling to the ground, along the stretch of Upper Session Road in Baguio City.

Every human being's responsibility for being is to serve others. It is the very reason for our existence and not something we do in our spare time. Serving means ministering to and assisting others in various ways; it is not done for show or publicity, but simply to enrich and assist others' lives. Service provides a sense of accomplishment in knowing that you helped to improve or even empower another person, family, organization, etc. It demonstrates a desire to assist others, and you never know when you might need it yourself. Everyone has the ability to help others in some way and can recognize that helping others can give our lives meaning and purpose. Every single person performs acts of service every day without even realizing it.

Service is more than just giving time; it is also a feeling, a life lesson, or even a life lesson in and of itself, such as concepts learned only through firsthand experience. Giving back to one's community has its own unique taste. Perhaps it's the satisfaction of assisting those who would otherwise receive less assistance. Perhaps it is seeing people from all over the world smile with the same expression of appreciation and gratitude. Perhaps it is knowing that I have a sensitivity to others that can only be gained by serving, or that giving back to the community has made my life richer and more meaningful.

LOOK: On January 17, 2023 ay exactly 3:00 PM, the cadets of PNPA MASIDTALAK Class 2023, specifically those assigned at Baguio City Police Office- Traffic Enforcement Unit participated in the OPLAN ARO (Anti Road Obstruction) together with PCPT BASINGA, Deputy Chief, TEU , under the supervision of PLTCOL DAUSEN,C, TEU and leadership of PCOL BULWAYAN,CD , BCPO. This is conducted to address the problem of the City on traffic due to illegal and other illegal obstractions along public roads and highways within the city.

This is in line with Mayor Benjamin B. Magalong's 10-point agenda on Aggressive Traffic Management, prohibiting the parking of any motor vehicle in front of curb cuts or obstructing such portions of roads and providing penalties for violation thereof. Additionally, this is to prevent the parking of motor vehicles in front of curb cuts or obstructing such road and sidewalk sections for safety reasons and to protect the safety of people with mobility disabilities when using portions of the sidewalks designated for their use.

On January 15, 2023, at about 1300H, P/CDT LOY-OD, and 11 other Cadets assisted in the conduct of foot patrol along Session Road led by BCPO Station 7 Commander PMAJ ROGER KURT L PACIFICAR, BCPO SWAT UNIT Platoon Leader PLT JUN P TAD-O, and BCPO COMPAC 3 Commander PLT BAYAN to ensure the peaceful flow of the display of art activity happening in said area. This kind of policing that is being observed in any police offices or stations is a proactive approach aimed at resolving issues before they become crimes, which reduces the fear of crime and promotes citizens' sense of control over their community. As we all know police visibility fosters a sense of security among people, a sense of assurance that police officers are prepared to act when necessary in any circumstance, and a sense of fear among potential violators.
