PRIDE MONTH 2024
The Local Government Unit of Tago headed by Mayor Betty E. Pimentel thru it's Gender and Development (GAD) by GAD-Designate Benneth F. Lagman celebrated Pride Month 2024 by conducting a training for the 24 LGBTQ++ Presidents entitled "Pink Fire Brigade" in collaboration with the Bureau of Fire Protection -Tago Station by SF02 Dennis B. Frias- Municipal Fire Marshall. Said Two (2) day training provided Fire Fighting Skills for the LGBTQ Community.

We're excited to announce the successful launch of the "Serbisyo Caravan 2024", an event dedicated to serving the communities of Barangays Alba and Bajao on the Last (4th) day of June 6, 2024, this initiative underscores our theme: "Bawat Buhay Mahalaga sa LGU-Tago".

This event, spearheaded by our Honorable Mayor Betty E. Pimentel, was made possible with the collaboration of Barangay Captains Hon. EpefaniA Labidor of Brgy. Alba and Hon. Arthur Casano of Brgy. Under the leadership of Honorable Mayor Betty E. Pimentel, another incredible day of Serbisyo Caravan 2024 engagement took place at Barangay Gamut Covered Court and Camagong of June 5, 2024! Our government agencies continue to bring essential services directly to our neighborhoods. From medical check-ups to skills training, dental care, free tuli, and many other services, we have something for everyone.

Thank you to all our volunteers, partners, and participants for making this initiative a resounding success. We're excited to share the success of Day 2 of "Serbisyo Caravan 2024" at Barangay Jubang and Barangay Sumo-Sumo. Under the leadership of Honorable Mayor Betty Pimentel and Barangay Captains Hon. Eugene B. Tajonera and Hon. Peter Cabadonga, we provided essential services including Dental Care, Free Consultations, Seeds Distribution, Free haircut, Oplan, Libreng Tuli, Free Medical Consultation, Distribution of Medicines and household materials.

The Municipality of Tago proudly hosted a heartfelt "Kasalan sa Barangay" event at Badong Barangay Hall, Tago Surigao del Sur, bringing together our community in a beautiful celebration of love and unity. We were honored to have our esteemed Honorable Mayor Betty Ensomo-Pimentel grace the occasion with her inspiring presence and support.

The joyous event was attended by 28 couples from three barangays: Cabangahan, Cayale, and Badong. We were also privileged to have the presence of their hardworking and dedicated Barangay Captains: Honorable Neneth H. Solmia of Badong, Honorable Dina B. Anito of Cabangahan, and Honorable Gondelino Gambe of Cayale.

A special thank you to our Municipal Civil Registrar Mrs. Josie L. Montero for her warm welcome message that set the tone for the event and ensured the smooth processing of all necessary documents for the newlyweds.
