Yesterday, Tago Fire Station headed by SFO2 Dennis B Frias, OIC-MFM fruitfully conducted 1st day of the 3-day Basic Skills for Responders Course Training to the newly organized Batch 2 of Community Fire Auxiliary Group (CFAG) from Barangay Alba, Bajao, Badong, Cagdapao, Cabangahan, and Cayale held at Barangay Covered Court, Bajao, Tago, SDS.

The opening program was graced by Mr. Clint E. Lagman, Municipal Administrator-Designate, Mr. Jerry Guazon of MDRRMO and Barangay Captains of participating Barangays.

This basic firefighting training gives the participants skills, knowledge, and fire suppression and prevention expertise. Equipping them with the knowledge to respond appropriately in emergency situations.

IN PHOTOS || Tago Fire Station personnel headed by SFO2 Dennis B Frias, OIC-MFM participated in an early morning Coastal Cleanup Drive along the shoreline of Brgy. Purisima, Tago, Surigao del Sur in line with the celebration of National Disaster Resilience Month 2024 (NDRM) with a theme "Bantayog ng Katatagan at ang Pagbubuklod sa Layuning Kahandaan".

This initiative was spearheaded by the Local Government Unit of Tago through the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office in collaboration with the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources (MENRO), attended with Tago Municipal Police Station and the 75th Infantry (Marauder) Battalion, PA.

This event supports a cleaner, safer environment and encourages everyone to take action towards a sustainable environment.

IN PHOTOS || Tago Fire Station headed by SFO2 Dennis B Frias, OIC-MFM successfully ended the 3-day Basic Skills for Responders Course Training for Community Fire Auxiliary Group (CFAG) Members from Barangay Purisima, Victoria, Dayo-an, Gamut, Camagong and Mercedes.

Field Training Exercise was conducted which provided fairly realistic scenarios and situations based on actual situations a unit might face if deployed. The Closing Program followed and was attended by the Municipal Mayor, HON. BETTY E PIMENTEL and MDRRM Officer, Romeo G Lozada.

Awarding and distribution of Fire Extinguishers to all the Barangays and Certificates of Completion of Training to participants were given.

June 25-26, 2024 | Duty personnel of Tago Fire Station led by SFO2 Dennis B Frias, OIC-Municipal Fire Marshal, SUCCESSFULLY conducted basic 𝟐-𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐅𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 to the newly created ℙ𝕀ℕ𝕂 𝔽𝕀ℝ𝔼 𝔹ℝ𝕀𝔾𝔸𝔻𝔼, which composed of LGBTQ members from different Barangay of Tago held at Cococay Beach Resort, Diversion Road, Tago, SDS.

The realization of this endeavor is made with the collaborative efforts by the Local Government Unit of Tago headed by Hon. Betty E. Pimentel, Municipal Mayor through GAD headed by Ms. Beneth F. Lagman, GAD Focal person and the BFP-Tago Fire Station.

These basic fire fighting training is to give the participants skills, knowledge and expertise in fire suppression and prevention. Equipping them with knowledge to respond appropriately in emergency situations.

Today, Tago Fire Station personnel spearheaded by SFO2 Dennis B Frias, OIC-MFM joined the Simultaneous National Flag Raising and Wreath-laying ceremony in celebration of the 126th Philippine Independence Day with this year’s theme: “Preserving our Filipino Culture and Heritage to Unite Generations held at Tago Twon Plaza, Brgy. Purisima, Tago, SDS.
The said event participated by all national and local agencies of the LGU Tago and Uniformed personnel of PNP, BFP and AFP.
