We wanted to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to Save the Children Philippines and Evident for your generous support and for the invaluable lessons you shared with us about Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) and Social and Behavior Change Communication (SBCC).

Your sponsorship made it possible for us to deepen our understanding of how crucial early years are in shaping a child's future. It empowered us with practical knowledge that will undoubtedly impact our approach to childcare and education. Learning from your expertise has been enlightening, and your passion for this field has inspired us all.

On January 27, 2024, our dear Sir Jude Nelson Apolonio gave a workshop on Child Safeguarding. Taguig Kids, Mr. Bryan, and Ms. Elaine were also present to discuss the rights of kids, with or without disability. We appreciate as well the participation in the poster/slogan-making project about inclusion, bullying, and discrimination, SSGs (Student Support Group) of Eusebio C. Santos Elementary School.

Together, we can use kindness, acceptance, and inclusion to create a world without discrimination and prejudice. Embracing diversity and fostering understanding can contribute to a more inclusive and harmonious global community!

31st National Children's Month Celebration 2023

"DRAW DISABILITY ART CONTEST"

It was a great opportunity for children with disabilities to take part in an occasion where they could showcase their drawing ability with well-known and well-liked painters Teacher Baldwin and Teacher Ryan! Special thanks to the NORFIL Foundation, Inc. program, which thinks kids with disabilities have a lot of potential and should be allowed to share it! Kudos to the parents who watch over and encourage their kids in times like these!

The speaker, as Sir Ronil, said:

"WALANG BATANG MAIIWAN"

Thank you, Lord, for these talented Children you have created!

SAVE THE CHILDREN ACT Playbook 2nd Presentation and Feedbacking Session

We are grateful that Save the Children Philippines and Evident invited us to the ACT Pre-test Workshop, Amplifying Children's Voices in Transforming (Education). The aforementioned seminar's primary goal is to carry over the workshop by teaching participants how to develop our monitoring and evaluation plan and campaign messaging.

Caregivers of children with disabilities play a crucial role in their lives; as young heroes, they really benefit from our presence and support, which helps them feel more confident. As teachers, we can help them along the way by providing guidance and inspiration to help them come up with their own answers.

Sincerely appreciate the opportunity; this training taught us a lot!

We just wanted to take a moment to express how incredibly grateful we are for all the support you've shown us, Save the Children Philippines, ANSA East Asia, and the Pacific, and Funded by the European Union through Project SCOPE. It's been an amazing journey!

Project SCOPE, which stands for β€œStrengthening the Capacity of OPDs and Other CSOs towards Effective Civil Society-Local Government Engagement and Improved Government Accountability for Persons with Disabilities, especially Children in the Cities of ParaΓ±aque and Taguig, and Municipality of Pateros,” has been a game-changer. Huge thanks to all the sponsors for making it possible. They've been our guiding light, especially when it comes to advocating for Persons with Disabilities.

One of the most valuable parts of this program has been the training for our team at Helping Hands-Parents Support Group, Inc. They taught us the ins and outs of proper organization and policy drafting, which is crucial for our cause. It's amazing how they're taking this advocacy to key cities all over the Philippines.

We recently wrapped up the program with a closing ceremony at B Hotel on October 25, 2023. It's bittersweet to see it end, but the knowledge and skills we've gained will live on. We're committed to sharing everything we've learned not only with our members but also with those who can benefit from it.

On behalf of all the Officers and Members of Helping Hands, we're sending our best wishes to everyone involved. God bless you in all your future endeavors, and may you continue to make a positive impact!

Cheers,
The Officers and Members of Helping Hands

OPD ASSESSMENT AND LESSONS LEARNED WORKSHOP FOLLOW-UP, ENHANCEMENT OF SUSTAINABILITY PLANS, AND PREPARATION FOR CULMINATING ACTIVITY:

It was excellent to have the privilege to take part in such a fascinating event once more. This time, we discussed the lessons we had learned from the previous workshops as well as some future goals and nurturing activities.

The Workshop happened on October 14–15, 2023, at the Cocoon Hotel in Quezon City. Other Taguig-based organizations joined us. We would like to express our gratitude to Save The Children for sponsoring the seminar and hope that more Project Scope will soon follow.

On September 9 and 10, 2023, a seminar named "Project Assessment and Harvesting of Lessons Workshop" was held at the Astoria Hotel in Ortigas. It was a remarkable privilege for everyone who attended because it contemplated past events/workshops/seminars. It is essential to grasp what is learned by each workshop.

The Capacity Of Organizations Of Persons With Disabilities And Other Civil Society Organizations Towards Effective Civil Society-Local Government Engagements And Improved Government Accountability for Persons with Disabilities, Especially Children In The Cities Of Paranaque, Taguig, And Municipality Of Pateros (SCOPE)

Thank you once more, ANSA East Asia and the Pacific, Save the Children, and Funded By The European Union for this wonderful chance and for pushing us toward attaining the objectives we have set! Looking forward to more workshops!

The Helping Hands group attended an orientation seminar on the Social Security System and PhilHealth Programs and Services for Persons with Disabilities and Their Parents/Guardians. It was really very beneficial for everyone who attended the orientation because they will profit in an array of ways in the future, not only for their healthcare needs.

This was held in Lakeshore Hall, Brgy. Lower Bicutan, the City of Taguig on August 18, 2023, with the agency officials and our dear Mayor Lani Cayetano, who took the time to share the positive collaboration and the favorable outcome.
