Let us remember their bravery and resilience as we unite in gratitude for their sacrifices and pledge to uphold the principles of freedom and unity they fought for.

As we bid farewell to the Southeast Asian Learning Exchange Program, it's with a bittersweet sense of gratitude that we reflect on the remarkable people who have left an indelible mark on our journey.

From the driven-for-change youth participants across the Philippines, to the empowered youth of Malaysia who turned into friends, to political figures of different parties in Malaysia – you've all reminded us of the importance of seeking a seat at the table, speaking up, and being heard.

A special shoutout to the UK Ambassador to the Philippines, who stood by the youth in their mission to change the world, and of course, to the incredible organizers of Balangay.

To all the notable people we've had the privilege of meeting along the way, we extend our heartfelt gratitude for your contributions to this enriching program. Your wisdom, enthusiasm, and passion have made this journey truly special.

Day 2 at the National Capital Region Youth Parliament was a momentous occasion as Alex, representing the esteemed Health Committee, took the floor to present our resolution before the Honourable participants from across the NCR! It was a stirring reminder of the challenges ahead in our journey towards a stronger healthcare sector.

The day served as a rallying cry for renewed commitment to building a healthcare system that's accessible and equitable for all. 💚✊

Day 5: Reflecting on the final day of SEALEP, we had the incredible opportunity to visit the UK Embassy and engage in a truly enriching conversation with UK Ambassador, Laure Beaufils. Her wisdom and perspective illuminated our discussions, leaving us inspired and motivated.

As we conclude this chapter of our journey, we're grateful for the connections forged and the invaluable insights gained. Here's to the memories made and the lessons learned during this remarkable experience. 💚

Exciting news: Alex elected as Chairperson of the Health Committee and Randolf's resolution chosen for second reading exemplify the remarkable caliber of UNA Youth Organization members! Day 4: Today epitomized the power of collaboration and meaningful dialogue as we enjoyed a delightful lunch with Gerakan President and members, followed by an enlightening office visit and engaging discussions.

During our lunch, we shared compelling stories and insights on political dynamics such as elections and campaigns, exploring both the similarities and differences between the political landscapes of the Philippines and Malaysia.

The office visit granted us a fascinating glimpse into the inner workings of Gerakan, sparking thought-provoking discussions on various issues and potential solutions. Our hearts are full of gratitude for the chance to connect, learn, and exchange perspectives. 💚

Day 3 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia started with an inspiring visit to the humble office of MUDA. Here, we were enlightened by their mission and unwavering commitment to catalyzing change. The afternoon was filled with engaging discussions with MUDA's political candidates, whose stories are fueled by a fierce willingness to change the system. Amidst it all, we savored the diverse flavors of Malaysian cuisine. Culminating our day was a visit to the iconic Petronas Towers, symbols of courage and aspiration. It was a day brimming with discovery, discourse, and inspiration, reminding us of the transformative power of collective action.💚

Day 2 of the Balangay Southeast Asian Exchange Program here in Malaysia was an absolute whirlwind! 🇲🇾 Starting off with a leisurely stroll around Kuala Lumpur, soaking in the vibrant atmosphere and picking up some must-have pasalubongs along the way.

And let's talk about lunch – we dove headfirst into Malaysia's culinary scene with a plate of Nasi Lemak, a flavor explosion that left us craving more! 😋 But the day wasn't just about food – it was about connection and empowerment too. We had the incredible opportunity to chat with some of Malaysia's inspiring youth leaders through the Teroka program by MUDA.

As the sun began to set, we gathered at Merdeka Square, soaking in the rich history and spirit of independence. And what better way to wrap up the day than by experiencing iftar with our Muslim friends – a beautiful tradition that opened our hearts and minds.
This day may have been long, but every moment was filled with new experiences and unforgettable memories. Here's to embracing the journey together!
