TO OUR RELATIVES, FRIENDS, AND ACQUAINTANCES:
1. We are doctors. NOT on-demand prescription writing services. DON'T call us and say, "Give me a prescription for (whatever drug you think you need)." Instead, schedule a proper teleconsult. We want to give you the best care. Simply prescribing whatever you want us to prescribe is NOT proper care.
2.Don't ask us to write prescriptions meant for someone else in your name so they can use your senior citizen discount.
3.See your doctor regularly. Don't come running to us (or to your doctor) after being lost to follow up for months or even years then insist on a prescription on the spot. A patient who is lost to follow up is actually like a new patient and will need a reevaluation.
4.If you don't want to listen to us, stop asking us questions. You're free to agree with us or not. But stop repeatedly asking us the same questions and expecting our answers to change. No matter how many times you ask us, don't expect us to ignore decades of medical education and experience, and suddenly listen only to the so-called "experts" you found on the internet. We are extremely busy. We hardly have time to eat and sleep. We don't have time to argue with you.
5.Stop pretending to ask us for our opinion, when in reality all you want is for us to agree with you. Go ahead and fact check with us if you want to. But accept our answer, whether or not it is something you want to hear. We are not being "difficult". Our profession is about truth and integrity, not about agreeing with you even if it's not true. So if you are dead set on your opinion and nothing we say will change your mind, don't bother asking us, just so you can tell others, "But my doctor friend/relative agrees with me!" You'll only waste everyone's time.
6.We are NOT 24/7 emergency hotlines. Hotlines are manned by an entire staff who take shifts. We are human and need sleep too. If you want immediate assistance for your medical problem, call one of the emergency consult hotlines.
7.We are NOT on-demand medical certificate writing services. We can issue legitimate medical certificates based on your consultations with us. What we write is based on our professional assessment. Do NOT dictate what you want us to write just to suit your purposes. (ex. "Write that my kids are sick" etc) Worse, don't ask us to make medical certificates for you if you're not our patient.
8.Stop asking us to book appointments for you with our doctor friends or classmates, and then canceling or not showing up just because you change your mind. Again, we and our doctor friends are extremely busy. Before you ask us to do something for you, make sure it is something you really want and need, and that you are prepared to follow through. Better yet, just get the contact info and set appointments yourself with their secretaries or online appointment systems.
9.Stop asking us for a free consult, then immediately going to another doctor for the same problem (and even coming back to us to "teach" us what we missed in the management). If you feel we're not as credible as a doctor that you have to pay for, don't waste our time consulting us just because we don't charge you. Our time is valuable too even if we don't ask you to pay for it. In the same way, if you already consulted with someone else and are just looking for a second/third/tenth opinion, say so directly instead of "testing" what we would say.
10.If you don't listen to us and something goes wrong, don't run to us to fix things for you. Example: You refuse to get the COVID vaccine, or you insist on having a family gathering. When you get sick, don't run to us to pull strings to get you priority admission at a hospital. Please also don't ask us to pay for your hospital bills, especially if you had the chance to be admitted at a charity hospital but you refused. (We can't, anyway.)
11.Don't give us medical advice based on what happened to someone you know, or what you heard from a random person or from the internet. We'd never think of giving our lawyer friends legal advice after watching some YouTube videos, or telling our friends in finance how to invest their money. We appreciate your concern, but we do know where to go for accurate medical advice if we need it.
12.Don't force us to buy whatever health products you are selling (or worse, nag us to sell them to our patients).
13.Don't go to our moms or dads if you want us to do any of the things above, because you're too embarrassed to ask us directly. Our parents only want to please you, and they feel guilty when we say no to you even if they didn't do anything wrong. This causes unnecessary stress for everyone.
14.Don't compare us with other doctors who are willing to do the things above. Every person has the right to set their own boundaries. We love you and we want to help you, but we need boundaries for everyone's safety, welfare, and mental health.

Ito po mga rason :
Una. Para hindi lahat ng biglang nakapa biglang naramdaman consult agad. Nakakaawa po yung mga talagang nangngailangan. Promise marami po ganun.
Pangalawa. Medyo madami na po talaga... Average 400 to 500 na tao ang nag papatingin araw araw. May mga ginagawa din po akong iba.
Pangatlo. Kailnagan ko rin po kumayod ng konti.
Mula april hangang sept ay libre po lahat ng consultation.. Maraming salamat sa mga nag donate.. Pwede pa po humabol. Malayo nararating ng mga donation. Marami na tayo natulungan na frontliner at mga lsi na napauwi.
Para saakin nagawa ko na part para makatulong. Maraming salamat.
Tuloy lang tayo... Pag pasensyahan na kung matagal at sagot... May mga ginagawa lang or kailangannkumayod din pansarili.
