Last Friday, August 18, 2023, the program was actively engaged by our newly elected President of the Guild of English Majors (GEM), Vince Gregorio, 2nd year representative, Adriel Jane Mojica, and the other members of the guild. This event was graced by the presence and guidance of Ma'am Mary Jane Acosta from UBNHS. Additionally, the outgoing Program Chair, Dr. Victor Cabrera, Prof. Bernadette Gomez, and Prof. Criscar Villanueva, also contributed their efforts to this annual program.
This year's BE theme is "Bayanihan Para sa Matatag na Paaralan" which is one of fundamental aspects of Filipino culture--an act assisting one another as a community to accomplish a task without expecting or asking for anything in return.
In the spirit of bayanihan, GEM donated cleaning supplies and, through a combined endeavor, made sure the learning environment was thoroughly cleaned and ready for the approaching academic year.
