University operations are temporarily suspended tomorrow, 6 September. Besides classes and other academic activities, work at TAU is canceled as continuous rains and possible flooding may impede transportation to and from the university.

Due to heavy rainfall warnings for Tarlac and neighboring provinces issued by PAG-ASA, classes at Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) on 3 September are suspended per announcement by LGU Camiling.

Other university-wide and college-based student events and activities scheduled for tomorrow are also canceled. Please wait for updates from concerned TAU personnel/ officials for further announcements regarding the resumption of regular classes.

Per Executive Order No. 20, S. 2024, issued by the Office of the Governor of the Province of Tarlac, classes in all levels and work in government are suspended on 26 July.

For their safety as floodwaters have not receded in some areas, enrollees (BS Business Administration) for tomorrow, 26 July, are advised to transact with the Admission and Registration Services (ARS) on 1 August instead, while Grade 12 and late enrollees from the Laboratory School (LS) will be entertained on 29 July.

Also, faculty and non-teaching staff needing assistance related to the calamity may contact the Office of the University President (OUP).

As the Malacañang Palace announces the work suspension in government offices and all academic institutions in Regions III, IV-A and NCR on 25 July 2024 due to continuous rain caused by Southwest Monsoon and Typhoon Carina, all office transactions at Tarlac Agricultural University are CANCELED, including its ongoing enrolment for 1st semester of academic year 2024-2025.

Students enrolling in BS Agribusiness, BS Entrepreneurship, and BS Psychology who were initially scheduled for 25 July should come back on 31 July instead.

Please be reminded by the following provisions of the General Guidelines for Enrolment.

1. Only those who confirmed their slots will be allowed to enroll.

2. Please check the schedule of enrolment in the poster.

3. The enrolment of qualified incoming first-year students will be facilitated by the Admission and Registration Services (ARS) staff.

4. The enrolment schedule will be strictly followed. Those who cannot enroll during their assigned schedule may only be registered on the provided schedule for late enrollees.

5. Students must bring and submit the following documents that will be placed in a long brown envelope:
a. Grade 12 Report Card/Form 138 or its equivalent for Old Basic Education Curriculum (Original Document)
b, Latest Certificate of Good Moral Character (Original Document)
c. PSA Birth Certificate (Photocopy)
d. 1 pc 2x2 colored picture with a name tag
e. Printed Copy of the Notice of Admission/Notification

This is to inform the public that Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) is now implementing its Affirmative Action Plan (AAP) for first-year applicants and re-evaluating the admission results of 𝐧𝐨𝐧-𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬 for possible admission to identified programs with remaining slots based on the absorptive capacity of the University.

Longer weekend awaits TAUians next week as Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson, TAU President, approves the pronouncement of 11 June (Tuesday) as a Mental Health Break for University employees and students.

The declaration is due to the numerous activities and events that took place last month as the University celebrated the 8th Charter Day, hosted the SUC III Olympics, facilitated the Presidential Public Forum, conducted the Recognition Rites and 78th Commencement Exercises, and welcomed its new president.

TAU is also one with the whole Province of Tarlac in commemorating the birth anniversary of the late Ambassador Eduardo “Danding” Murphy Cojuangco Jr. on 10 June (Monday) and the nation in observance of the 120th anniversary of the Philippines Independence on 12 June (Wednesday).

Note: Per recommendation from Ms. Karen A. Mariano, Laboratory School (LS) Principal, the second screening for LS qualifiers, dated 11 June, will proceed as scheduled.

With the mercury rising and the summer heat kicking in, the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) prioritizes the safety and well-being of its stakeholders. To support its faculty members and students, the University is implementing a flexible schedule every week starting 16 April to 17 May 2024.

Lecture classes at all levels will now be delivered VIRTUALLY, either synchronous or asynchronous. However, Colleges shall prescribe the modality (in-person, online, or hybrid) for laboratory courses and thesis defense. Also, to maintain the integrity of assessments, major examinations shall be administered ONSITE.

This proactive measure aims to provide a comfortable and safe learning environment for all amidst the heatwave. Stay hydrated, TAUians!

𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐈𝐓𝐘 𝐁𝐔𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐓𝐈𝐍 | Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU)

Per Memorandum Circular No. 45, work in government offices across the country is suspended on 27 March, at 12:00 noon onwards. Published by Malacañang Palace yesterday, said circular is issued to facilitate the travel of government employees to their respective hometowns in observance of the Holy Week.

Synchronous classes are also canceled on Wednesday afternoon. However, ONLINE application for TAU College Admission Test (CAT) will continue until 29 March. Applicants are advised to complete the requirements on or before the deadline.
