REPOST: OPEN SLOTS FOR TAU-TULONG DUNONG PROGRAM

We are pleased to announce the opening of 132 slots for the TAU-Tulong Dunong Program, a financial assistance program that provides a ONE-TIME grant of P7,500.00 to qualified applicants.

I. QUALIFICATIONS

Please READ the following guidelines before applying:
1. This program is for Filipino Citizens only.
2. Qualified applicants shall come from Marginalized sectors of the society, which includes, but not limited to, Indigent Families, Indigenous Peoples, Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), Displaced farmers and fisherfolks, Solo Parents and Children of Solo Parents.
3. The applicants must be officially enrolled in their FIRST UNDERGRADUATE DEGREE which are included in CHED Registry of Programs.
4. The applicants must not be a current or previous grantee of any Government-funded scholarships (TES, TDP, StuFAP, DOST, DA, etc.) except Free Higher Education.
5. Students enjoying Private-Funded Scholarships shall also be excluded from this program.

II. DOCUMENTARY REQUIREMENTS

1. CHED Application Form (Annex 1 TDP Application Form – Printed in A4-sized paper)

2. Certificate of Indigency signed by the Brgy. Captain where the applicant resides
3. Certificate of Registration/Enrolment for the 2nd semester 2023-2024

Additional Requirements (if applicable)
1. PWD ID
2. Solo Parent ID
3. IP Certification
4. Brgy Certification for displaced farmers and fisherfolks

III. APPLICATION AND VALIDATION PROCESS

The following guidelines shall be followed for the application process:
1. The application shall be ON-SITE only.
NOTE: For PWD students, their immediate family member shall be allowed to submit their application in their behalf.
2. The reception of applicants shall be on a FIRST-COME-FIRST-SERVE basis.
3. Applicants shall submit all documentary requirements to the Financial and Educational Assistance Services (FEAS) of OSSD.
4. The FEAS Chair and Staff shall evaluate the submitted application and requirements and prepare an initial list to be submitted to CHED Central Office for Validation.
5. Once the list has been validated by CHED, the FEAS Chair shall generate and release the Final Master List of Qualified Grantees under the TDP-SUC for 2nd Semester 2023-2024.
6. FEAS shall notify qualified grantees and provide them a copy of the Notice of Award (NOA).
7. Qualified applicants shall sign the NOA and return it to the FEAS.
8. Once all NOAs are signed and returned, FEAS shall prepare the Payroll for the disbursement of Funds

IV. APPLICATION PERIOD

Application is on February 14, 2024 only at the Office of Student Services and Development.

To highlight the true essence and spirit of the holiday season ,a total of twenty-five (25) families from Sitio Masokit, Sta. Ines Centro, Sta. Ignacia, Tarlac received grocery packs from College of Agriculture and Forestry -Student Council. Moreover ,fifty (50) children also benefited from the feeding program and participated in different parlor games together with the student leaders of CAFSC headed by John Josef Valete.

Aside from the members of the CAFSC headed by their advisers, Ma’am Teresita Jazmin Bajas and Ma’am Jaira Miranda, the ever-supportive CAF faculty, Sir Ronaldo Briones and PTEA President Mr. Eric Cuaresma also volunteered in the outreach program together with the unending support of the college Dean, Dr. Agnes C. Perey.

The success of the outreach program would not be possible without the support and assistance of the barangay workers of Brgy. Sta. Ines Centro headed by Punong Barangay Jhonie Bulatao. The CAFSC also extends their warmest gratitude to the following donors:
