We're thrilled to share that our recent Family Planning Caravan has been a huge success!👏🏻
With the theme Panalo ang Pamilyang Planado, "Tara, usap tayo sa Family Planning", we reached out almost 300 clients who took advantage of our free services.

The results are in:
🔹252 clients successfully inserted with Progestin Subdermal Implants
🔹1 client received an IUD (Intrauterine Device) insertion
🔹16 clients underwent Visual Inspection with Acetic Acid (VIA) and Breast Examination

We're proud to have helped these individuals take control of their reproductive health and make informed choices about their families.

**Despite the challenges brought by Typhoon Enteng, our Family Planning Caravan persevered! Originally scheduled last August 28, we rescheduled to September 11 to ensure the safety and well-being of everyone involved.

We successfully conducted an Orientation on the Basic Concepts of Adolescent S*xuality and Reproductive Health for Barangay Population Managers (BPMs).

Empowering our BPMs with the knowledge and skills to support our youth in making informed decisions regarding their sexual health is essential for building a healthier and more resilient community.

Together, we can ensure that our adolescents have the information and resources they need to thrive and make healthy choices.

Uplifting the Valenzuelanos Next Generation:
The Valenzuela City Population Management Office 'TEEN TRAIL' was a tremendous success! Our adolescents acquired valuable life skills, built confidence, and had an enjoyable time with their peers. We're proud to have positively impacted these young individuals' lives alongside our Adolescent Peer Educators.

Held at Lingunan 3S, Multi-purpose Hall, last June 21, 2024.

Our team of peer educators just completed training on S*xually Healthy and Personally Empowered Adolescents (SHAPE- A) . Empowering the next generation with knowledge and skills for a brighter, healthier future. 🌟

The Valenzuela City Population Management Office’s “TEEN TRAIL” was a huge success! Our adolescent participants learned valuable life skills, gained confidence, and had a blast with their peers. We’re proud to have made a positive impact on the lives of these young individuals.

Another successful event of Valenzuela City Population Management Office! Bilateral Tubal Ligation (BTL) and No- Scalpel Vasectomy (NSV) procedures were expertly performed today and last Friday, (May 17, 2024) by our partner DKT Philippines Foundation with their innovative Mobile Clinic, promoting family planning and reproductive health in our community.

Ang Valenzuela City Population Management Office ay nagdaos ng pagdiriwang ng National Women’s Month kung saan maraming kababaihan ang nabigyan ng serbisyo tulad ng VIA (Visual Inspection with Acetic Acid) / Acetic Acid Wash, Breast Examination and Family Planning Services, tulad ng Progestin Subdermal Implant (PSI) Insertion, IUD Insertion, Pills, DMPA Injection, Condoms at FP Counselling, Cervical & Breast Cancer Awareness Lecture, Bone Scanning at HPV Vaccine na ginanap sa Lawang Bato Events Space.

Sa pakikipagugnayan ng Bignay National Highschool sa Valenzuela City Health Office at Valenzuela City Population Management Office Naisagawa ang lecture sa mga estudyanteng Grade 7 to 10 ngayong November 17, 2023 ( Biyernes ) na may paksa na S*x Education Seminar on Teenage Pregnancy sa Bignay National High School.

Maraming salamat po sa mga estudyante at g**o na nakilahok at nakinig.

Sa pagtatapos ng Family Planning month ang Valenzuela City Population Management Office ay nagdaos ng FP Caravan kung saan maraming nabigyan ng serbisyo tulad ng PSI (implanon) at IUD insertion and removal, VIA, Breast & Cervical Examination at Bone Screening na ginanap sa Lingunan 3s Center, Brgy. Lingunan.

Ang Valenzuela City Population Management Office ay magkakaroon ng Family Planning Caravan bukas, Agosto 30, 2023 , mula alas 8 ng umaga hanggang alas 3 ng hapon sa Lingunan 3S Center, Barangay Lingunan kung saan magbibigay ng libreng FP Counseling, FP commodities (pills and condoms), Implanon at Intrauterine Device or IUD insertion and removal, VIA, Breast Examination at Bone Screening.

Bukod sa serbisyong ito, magbibigay din ng mga lectures para sa mga kakababaihan na nasa reporductive age ukol sa Breast at Cervical Cancer Awareness at sa mga kalalakihan na tinatawag na KATROPA o (KAlalakihang Tapat sa Responsibilidad sa PAmilya).

The celebration of Family Planning Month in August provides an excellent opportunity to raise awareness, advocate for policy changes, and reinforce the inportance of Family Planning in promoting overall health.
The City Population Management Office of Valenzuela aims to inspire positive behavioral changes, reduce disparities in access to Family Planning and create more supportive & empowered society, where individuals have the freedom to plan their family and achieve their full potentials.
