✅✅✅ Delegates of Mindoro State University (MinSU) in the name of Dr. Levy B. Arago, Jr., MinSU President, Dr. Christian Anthony C. Agutaya, VP for Research, Development and Extension, Dr. Franie M. Afable, Dean of the College of Business and Management, and Mr. John Edgar S. Anthony, Dean of the College of Computer Studies, along with other faculty researchers, Ms. Rhea B. De Guzman, Ms. Emma Vida R. Liwanag, Dr. Marinel V. Burgos, Dr. Kathrine Grace A. Genil, and Ms. Kathy R. Pepito-Maglalang, participated in the 6th International Scientific Conference with the theme “Enhancing the Quality of International Cooperation among Universities in Southeast Asian Nowadays” last December 10, 2022 at Thanh Hoa University Culture of Arts and Tourism (TUCST) in Thanh Hoa City, Vietnam. All scientific reports of good quality done by the MinSU faculty researchers have been presented and published in the Conference Proceedings.

The conference was in collaboration between TUCST in Vietnam and Southern Luzon State University (SLSU). The three co-organizers of the conference are all Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) with functions of research, knowledge dissemination, and training of undergraduate and graduate human resources in the fields of social sciences and humanities, economics, and travel. Within the framework of the implementation of annual cooperation memorandums, the conference is even more meaningful because it was held on the 55th anniversary of TUCST’s development.

Likewise, the conference has both demonstrated the belief and responsibility of the stakeholders in promoting the quality of international cooperation in higher education in the country and the ASEAN region in general.

Mindoro State University updated their address.

Dahil sa patuloy na nararanasan nating malakas na ulan, maraming mga lugar ang nakakaranas ng pagbaha. May mga kalsadang di na rin nadadaanan.

Kaugnay nito, ang PASOK sa LAHAT ng mga TANGGAPAN sa buong lalawigan, PAMPUBLIKO AT PRIBADO, ay SUSPENDIDO sa ARAW na ITO, July 23. Mananatiling bukas ang mga tanggapan ng DRRM, Social Welfare, Engineering, health offices at ang mga pampublikong ospital. Samantalang ang mga pribadong institusyon na may kinalaman sa telecommunications, kuryente at iba pang vital institutions ay kinakailangang may mga maiiwang manggagawa upang patuloy na makapaghatid ng serbisyo, ganundin ang mga pribadong ospital. Ang mga LCEs ay maaaring magdagdag ng mga tanggapang pananatilihin nilang bukas kung kinakailangan, ganundin ang mga pinuno ng mga NGAs. Samantalang ang mga pribadong institusyon ay maari ding magpapasok kung kinakailangan, na may kaakibat na pagsunod sa mga labor laws at ibayong pag-iingat.

Pinapayuhan po ang lahat na kung maaari ay manatili muna sa kani-kanilang tahanan upang maiwasan ang anumang pagkaantala o sakuna.

At last, we now hold the confirmation of the end of our quest for a university status. We can already ring out our new name MINDORO STATE UNIVERSITY (MinSU). This also recognizes the collegial efforts of all the key officials and members of MinSCAT, then and now, our various stakeholders and clienteles. A profound thanks to the support and guidance of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) headed by Chair J. Prospero “Popoy” E. De Vera III, the previous boards of trustees and the current Board of Trustees chaired by Commissioner Lilian de Las Llagas, the CHED MIMAROPA headed by Atty. Joselito C. Alisuag, and the Office of Institutional Quality and Governance (OIQAG), headed by Director Luisa S. Valencia.
