The Public Speakers League (PSL) is a newly constituted student organization founded by Ma'am Rey-Ann F. Villanueva. This organization has three core objectives: to build a network of speakers, leaders, and critical thinkers; to provide inclusive training to student members for upskilling to prepare them for competitions and other relevant tasks, and to promote camaraderie and good relationships among student members.

It aims to cultivate the communicative competence of its members to prepare them for speaking engagements or contests such as debates, negotiation dialogues, hosting, giving lectures, and the like. The organization also aims to gather students who want to conquer their fears of public speaking and combat speech anxiety.

Nutri-Balye sa Kalye 2019

Pre-pandemic Vinzons Pilot High School was as festive as the smiles flashed in the photo. Performers balance on bent back and knees, forming a flora, with a beautiful maiden blooming at the center proudly holding a basket filled with a bountiful harvest, which depicts the prominence and benefit of having a healthy body and having a balanced diet as we strive in our daily lives in society.

Throwback to 2019, this image was taken at a street performance called: "Nutri-Balye sa Kalye" an event celebrated by performing vibrant dances and stimulating choreographies as they march along the streets of Vinzons showcasing the talent, creativity, and resourcefulness of the youth by incorporating indigenous materials, fruits, and vegetables local to the municipality. It was performed by students of all levels and curricula of Vinzons Pilot High School as a campaign to celebrate good health and advocate the importance of practicing proper exercise in response to the National Nutrition Month Celebration.

Andito na si Chito, ang ating Barangay Nutrition Scholar! 🫶🏻

Sa taunang Oplan Timbang na isinasagawa ng ating mga Barangay Nutrition Scholar, matutukoy natin ang mga batang nangangailangan ng dietary supplementation at iba pang nutrition-related services.

Kasama natin si Chito at iba pang BNS sa pagtaguyod ng malusog at masiglang komunidad! 💚

Siguraduhin ang tamang nutrisyon para sa ating pamilya para sa malakas na resistensya lalo na ngayong new normal!

LET THE EARTH BREATHE

In this timely fight, it is still not too late to act upon what you think is right.

The Earth is dying - and that’s certain. On the 14th of April, scientists had already warned us that we have at least 3 more years to fix our planet before suffering the possible catastrophic consequences of climate change (from the interview of Peter Kalmus, NASA Scientist). This is a sign that GLOBAL WARMING is real and it is slowly killing our planet. Increased number of cyclones such as Odette and Agaton which caused a major impact on the country last year, was the most tangible proof that we are on the verge of facing these consequences.

This is clearly not a drill. There's no planet B so therefore, we must act before it’s too late.

As we celebrate the 50th Earth Day, the VPHS Student Technologists and Entrepreneurs of the Philippines - Student Association (STEP-SA) is organizing a tree planting activity on Friday, April 22 that will be held at Calangcawan Norte Vinzons, Camarines Norte. We are strongly encouraging you to join us by donating tree saplings of any kind to support this project and make a change towards our environment - even in your own smallest ways.

We are all warriors in this fight for the Earth, so take a stand with us and act to save the home of future generations.
