Philippine Red Cross - Catanduanes Chapter Emergency Response Unit (ERU) responded to a vehicular accident at Barangay Hitoma, Caramoran

ERU received the call at 3:00 am, arrived at scene at 3:45 am.

Involved persons:
2 with minor wounds
1 (driver) pinned under the truck

Action taken:
Anchoring of truck at ravine approx 50 meters.
Extrication of the truck driver.
Time extracted: 10:30 am

Philippine Red Cross - Catanduanes Chapter deployed teams to Pandan-Caramoran (PanCar) Area and Panganiban-Viga-Bagamanoc (PaViBa) Area to assist the LGUs for their Tropical Storm "PAENG" Operation.

Seen here are PRC staff and volunteers assisting LGU Virac, Viga and Pandan during the pre-emptive evacuation, profiling of evacuees and provision of hotmeals.

PRC - Catanduanes Chapter activated its communication center as early as 10:00AM yesterday, October 27, 2022 and prepositioned its response equipment for any eventualities during its TS "PAENG" Emergency Operations.

World Blood Donor Day is observed every year on June 14th. This day is celebrated in order to raise awareness about safe blood donation. Celebrate this important day by donating blood at Philippine Red Cross Catanduanes Chapter.

A cadever was retrieved at Bato River this morning upon the initial missing report earlier today. With the joint effort of MDRRMO Bato, PDRRMO Catanduanes, and Philippine Red Cross and local search parties the cadaver was successfully found and retrieved.

-Mga indibidwal mula 16 - 65 taong gulang (para sa mga 16 at 17 taong gulang ay nangangailangan ng parental consent
-May timbang na hindi bababa sa 50 kilo
-Blood pressure sa pagitan ng:
Systolic: 90 - 160 mmHg
Diastolic: 60 - 100 mmHg
-Pumasa sa physical at health history assessment

Libre po ang dugo.
Ang inyong binabayaran pag kumuha ng dugo ay ang tinatawag na BLOOD PROCESSING FEE at hindi po bayad sa dugo. Ang dugo po na inyong ginagamit ay libreng dinonate sa Philippine Red Cross at hindi po pinapabayaran. Ang saklaw po ng Blood Processing Fee ay ang lahat ng proseso mula sa pag recruit, pag kolekta, pag test mga dugo laban sa kung iba't ibang mga sakit, at pag imbak ng dugo na hindi kayang suportahan ng Philippine Red Cross mula sa inyong mga donasyon kung kaya ito ay pinapasalo sa kapamilya ng nangangailangan.

Para sa mga gustong mag donate punta lang po kayo sa pinakamalapit na opisina ng Philippine Red Cross sa inyong lugar.
