If you love what you are doing ... you will be happy. Despite doing simultaneously three mandated research projects that are overlapping, managing a 10 million pesos CHED funded extension program, another Climate Change Commission volunteer work plus four fisherfolk/farmers and livelihood groups and as scientific advisor of two NGOs... I still have to attend local and international webinars to continue improving my God-given craft in writing proposals for funding.... I FAILED AT AN EPIC SCALE in many different ways like finishing another PhD and running for SUC Presidency, nabokya tayo lagi.... hihihihihihihi... then I review scientific papers for high impact journals, sit as editorial board members of Scopus listed journals of Elsevier; writing and revising papers, a book chapter and a monograph.. I am not a Super Human... I am a TH (trying hard) professor... To be TH has a debasing connotation among academics in the scientific parlance.... At least may natatapos na gawain... Happiness is Beautiful! 🙏❤🖐

Sir Domel Gemar Talan please assist in this Denuded Rocky Shore Estuarine Area planting initiative in Palnab-Pajo.. CONTACT .MR. Philip Buena, and Petronilo Tabirara, BS Fisheries 3A students of CAF CatSU (Student Assistant applicants for Sem 2 SY 2023-2024). They are coordinating this simple but meaningful MANGROVIZATION endeavor.

🙏❤🖖 CHED NAFES funded program ACE-HEMS "BANTAY SUBA" supporters under the "PADAGOS NA PATANOS" Community Volunteer Initiatives known as YSB (Young Biodiversity Scouts) and CST (Community Science Teachers) of SURMABIOCON (now ACE-HEMS) have been trialing the Patent Application (Under Prior Art Analysis) on a "Method of Mangrove Seedling Germination, Rearing and Caring" by Masagca JT, Berces JA and Azanza PA (2024) Patent Application is with the Hechanova & Co. Patenting Office in Gil Puyat, Manila.

These 2 photos here in Sabang , Palnab del Sur in Virac, Catanduanes show the surviving and now slowly growing mangroves planted with bamboo tubes casings by the CatSU CAF BS Fisheries 3A students enrolled in Aquaculture and Fish Genetics & Breeding last December 9 and 16, 2023..

FOR 2024 ACE-HEMS Project Staff (2 were newly re-hired and 6 others for re-hiring) will work for this Padagos na Patanos Volunteer support activity for this site in Sabang (Site 3 VRC) as well as the other sites in Palawig, San Andres (Site 1 SAN), in Buenavista, Baras (Site 2 BAR), Marilima (Site 4 VRC), Marambong, Pandan (Site 5 PAN) for mangrove-associated beach forest plants as well as in Batag, (Site 6 VRC). The other Trial sites in Bato and Panganiban are being coordinated by Dr. Jennifer A. Berces and Asso. Prof Eduardo Pena with Mr. Joey Fernandez of Cabuyoan Fisherfolk Association in Panganiban.
