Sa pagtutulungan ng College of Education Student Organization at CoEd Faculty Association, hatid namin sainyo ang isang programang naglalayong makapagbigay, ang EduKalinga.

Ang EduKalinga ay isang programang humihikayat na kung sinuman ang may kakayahang makapagbigay ay makiisa. Ang malilikom na donasyon ay ibibigay sa mga karapatdapat na mag-aaral mula sa College of Education.

Simula bukas, ang College of Education Students Organization ay maglalagay ng donation box sa harap ng Conference Room 2 kung saan doon ilalagay ang mga bagay na nais ninyong i-donate.

Kagaya na lamang ng mga sumusunod:

-Food Packs

⁣”Put it in God’s hands.”

There’s a weight that only God can carry. When you try to carry it, you will only wear yourself out. Take everything to God. Nothing is too big and nothing is too small to Him.⁣

Whatever it is that you’re carrying or a fight that you’re facing right now, give it to God.⁣ Let Him fight for you – you rest.

It’s not His will that you should be crushed down with weights and burdens of life.⁣ Let Him in– let Him carry the weights.

Jesus said, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30)

The ‘yoke’ that Jesus is offering doesn’t add weight to our shoulders; it removes it.

The rest we gain from following his way begins with taking his yoke on us– his way of life. He promises us that his yoke is different;
it is easy, it is light, it is gentle and it is freeing.

“True rest” comes when we fully surrender to Him — ☁️🤍

𝙏𝙃𝙀 𝙒𝙀𝙀𝙆 𝙏𝙃𝘼𝙏 𝘾𝙃𝘼𝙉𝙂𝙀𝘿 𝙏𝙃𝙀 𝙒𝙊𝙍𝙇𝘿, 𝘾𝙊𝙉𝙏𝙄𝙉𝙐𝙀𝙎 𝙏𝙊 𝘾𝙃𝘼𝙉𝙂𝙀 𝙊𝙐𝙍 𝙇𝙄𝙑𝙀𝙎!

Holy Week is the week before Easter Sunday, beginning seven days before with Palm Sunday. It ends with Holy Saturday. Easter is not part of Holy Week, but rather the beginning of the Easter season of the Liturgical year.

This year, the Holy Week falls on these following dates:

PALM SUNDAY—APRIL 10
MAUNDY THURSDAY—APRIL 14
GOOD FRIDAY—APRIL 15
EASTER SUNDAY—APRIL 17

Tomorrow, March 11, 2022, we will witness a symbolic and time-honored tradition of the College of Education that aims to recognize practice teachers and formally welcome them into the Teaching Internship.

Together with 243 practice teachers, come and join us in the 1st Virtual Pinning of Nameplates and Torch Lighting Ceremonies at 1:00 PM via Zoom and Facebook Live!

A Eucharistic Celebration will be facilitated earlier, 8:00 in the morning, at Virac Immaculate Conception Cathedral.

Mga bok at ter, remember that December 8, Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception, is considered as a holy day of obligation.

The Catechism of the Catholic Church (CCC) explains holy days of obligation this way:

"On Sundays and other holy days of obligation, the faithful are to refrain from engaging in work or activities that hinder the worship owed to God, the joy proper to the Lord’s Day, the performance of the works of mercy, and the appropriate relaxation of mind and body.

Family needs or important social service can legitimately excuse from the obligation of Sunday rest.

The faithful should see to it that legitimate excuses do not lead to habits prejudicial to religion, family life, and health." [CCC 2185].
