Sometimes, we frequently become involved in the distractions of the Dunya in the midst of the hustle of this worldly life, losing sight of the real reason we are here. We are often distracted from remembering Allāh, the One who created us and gave us everything we own, by the dunya and its fleeting joys and temptations. We must always remind ourselves that this life is only a test and that true success awaits those who strive in the way of Allāh in the aakhirah, where they will find eternal peace and contentment.
Dear brothers and sisters, there is nothing sweeter or more rewarding than seeking Allaah's pleasure. The heart that longs for Allaah's favor finds a peace and pleasure that no worldly acquisition can match. Allahu’Akbar! When we focus on our relationship with Allāh, fulfilling our duties to Him and working to please Him in all aspects of our lives, we experience a satisfaction that is greater than the fleeting pleasures of this world.
It is in this pursuit that our hearts are truly content, for they are connected to their Creator.

Seek Allaah's pleasure above all things, and you will see that not only does the aakhirah await you with infinite rewards, but so will the dunya, bringing with it the true peace that comes from knowing you are on the right path to Allāh. Barākallahu Fīykum.

Assalāmua’laykum warahmatullāhi wa barakātuh, The Jumuah prayer today will be held in MPCC 2, in Shaa Allāh. For our sisters, you can choose to pray in the specially dedicated prayer room at XH101.
Today’s Khutba will focus on 𝗋𝗂𝖽𝖺’ (contentment) and shukr (gratitude). We will go over how true contentment arises from believing in Allāh’s plan and being content with Allāh’s plan and what He has given to us, while gratitude enriches our hearts and deepens our relationship with Him.
Let us reflect on this Quranic verse. Allah says:
“[[ لَئِن شَكَرۡتُمۡ لَأَزِیدَنَّكُمۡۖ ]]
𝐈𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐟𝐮𝐥, 𝐈 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 [𝐢𝐧 𝐟𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐫].” (𝟏𝟒:𝟕)
This verse highlights the relationship between expressing gratitude to Allāh ﷻ and receiving more blessings and favors from Him. It serves as a reminder for us that Shukr can draw us closer to our creator and enhance the blessings in our lives, Alhamdulillāh.
Additionally, let us also reflect on the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH):
“𝐑𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬, 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐥.” [𝐒𝐚𝐡𝐞𝐞𝐡 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐥𝐢𝐦, 𝐍𝐨. 𝟐𝟐𝟖𝟕]
This emphasizes that real contentment lies in obtaining fulfillment and satisfaction in our souls rather than in material possessions. Rida’ enables us to accept Allāh’s will decree with peace and contentment, no matter how bitter this decree may appear.
As we gather for our Jumu’ah prayer, let us deeply reflect on these concepts, and as servants of Allāh, let us all strive to incorporate them into our daily lives.
Let us remember the promise of Allāh. “𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐢𝐬 𝐠𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐝.” [𝟗𝟑:𝟓]
May these reminders fill our hearts with patience and hope. Trusting Allāh’s mercy to His servants will provide ease and relief during difficulties. Alhamdulillāh, Alaa Kulli Hal. 🌻
Peace be upon you all! 🌻

A Blessed Eid’l Adha to all of our brothers and sisters in Islam!
Alhamdullilāh! The day of Arafah is finally within our midst. Throughout the last 9 days, Allah’s ﷻ mercy has increased magnificently compared to the other normal days. However, that is nothing compared now to the day of Arafah, where His mercy is the biggest throughout the year.
Aisha reported: The Messenger of Allāh, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “There is no day upon which Allaah frees more of His servants from the Hellfire than the day of Arafat. He draws near and then He boasts of them to the angels, saying: What do these servants want?” (Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 1348)
So dear brothers and sisters, just like how we started strong during this 9 days, let us take this opportunity to increase our du'a even more so that we can gain Allah’s ﷻ mercy and pray for ourselves, our loved ones, and especially the people of P@lestine, and for the entire Ummāh as a whole.
On this festive day, may Allaah ﷻ grant us blessings and unity as we gather with our loved ones in life.
عيدكم مبارك. تقبل الله منا ومنكم صالح الأعمال ✨
Bismillāh!
Let us remember to increase our duas for our brothers and sisters in P@lestine and other oppressed ummāh, and take advantage of the amplified strength and acceptance our duas have during this day of 'Arafah. Allahumma Amīn! ✨
''𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐈 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐮𝐩𝐨𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐌𝐲 𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐈𝐬𝐥𝐚𝐦 𝐚𝐬 [𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫] 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧.' [𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐍𝐨𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐐𝐮𝐫'𝐚𝐧, 𝟓:𝟑]
If Ramadhan is known for its blessed nights, then the 1st 10 days of Dhul Hijjah are known for the blessed days of having our duas and good deeds amplified throughout the day.
Today is the first day of Dhul Hijjah, a very blessed month in which a lot of historical and highly significant events during the time of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and the Sahaba (RA) took place. Some of these historical events include:
- The Prophet's farewell sermon, and
- Allāh's declaration of finally perfecting the religion of Islam
Subhan'Allāh!
Indeed, this is a month that all Muslims should ponder about.
Therefore, as these days have come before us, let us not forget to increase our duas for our brothers and sisters in P@lestine and take advantage of the amplified strength and acceptance our duas have during Dhul Hijjrah. Just like how the last ten nights of Ramadān were greatly valued, the best days of the year should also be treated as such. We Muslims should make the most out of these ten particular days, to reap the bountiful rewards that come with it. As the Prophet ﷺ states, ‘There are no days in which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allāh ﷻ than in these (ten) days’. [Sunan Abu Dawud]
With that said, may we become successful in increasing our ibadah and good deeds during these blessed days and remain hopeful that our amplified prayers during these 10 days will bring about help, comfort, and victory for the people of P@lestine 🍉
Allahumma Amīn! ✨
Let's advocate to strengthen our Du'ā more for our brothers and sisters in P@lestine, who are suffering on the other side of the world. Let's show our support through a simple share because a single share makes a huge difference. Barakāllahu fīykum!

MSA - AdZU extends its warmest congratulations on the graduation of our fellow hardworking and dedicated Muslim brothers and sisters. As you step into the next phase of your life, remember that true success lies not only in academic achievements but also in embodying the values of Islam.

Months have passed, weeks have traveled, and days are countable in our hands as we approach the finals examination. As we approach the final examinations for this semester, may Allāh give us a chance to think wisely. With every shade of the empty circles that are ought to be filled, may Allāh grant us guidance, light upon light.
With that, let us always remind ourselves that everything we have done in our college years is never unworthy of appreciation.
Your efforts are never 'unnoticed'. No matter how alone you were in the process, how no one congratulated you for your work, or when no one batted an eye on you the whole time, there was someone who had seen it all. That someone is 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐎𝐧𝐞, 𝐀𝐥-𝐖𝐚𝐡𝐢𝐝.
Allāh ﷻ is The All-Seeing—He sees your studying sessions in the wee hours of the night, the discoloration under your eyes after an all-nighter, the nervous breakdowns you silently had in your room, and the degree of effort you have put into your endeavors. All of these sacrifices and bouts of determination poured into your actions will give you the best of results—results that fall within your dimension of uncertainty.
As the famous saying goes, "𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐣𝐚𝐝𝐝𝐚 𝐰𝐚 𝐣𝐚𝐝𝐚", meaning that '𝐰𝐡𝐨𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐞𝐝'.
May Allāh ﷻ make it easy for us, for He is the Most Merciful, The Sustainer. May we remember all of the lessons we studied, through all of the pages we flipped. Make Du'ā in every step we take, from the moment we leave the house, to the moment we will come back as Allāh will surely bestow mercy and guidance to those who are mindful of Him.
Alongside that, let us pray for everyone else. We are one ummah, one body. And together, In shā Allāh, we will pass this test and may we pass the real test of this Dunya that Allāh has given and will give us.
And to Allāh we trust, as success is only through his mercy and love. Whatever the results may be, just affirm to yourself that you have done your very best and that Allāh has your affairs settled, just like the Great Planner that He is. Leave it to Allāh, and He will do the rest. Verily, Allāh is in control of everything 🤍

As the crescent moon marks the end of Ramadhān, we come together to celebrate Eid ul-Fitr, a time of faith, family, and celebration. After a month of fasting, reflection, and spiritual growth, we express gratitude for the blessings we've received.
Eid ul-Fitr is more than just breaking the fast; it's a time for compassion, generosity, and unity. Let's remember to empathize, share blessings, and lend a helping hand. Amidst the festivities, let's nurture love, forgiveness, and reconciliation, repairing broken relationships and spreading kindness.
As we exchange gifts and share meals, let's not forget those who cannot join us and strive for inclusivity. May this Eid bring peace, happiness, and prosperity to all!

This is an exceptional opportunity to gather together, reflect, and chart a course for a spiritually enriching future. Let's join hands as a community and sow the seeds of goodness this Ramadhān.
We look forward to your presence and participation. See you there! 🌟
🌙✨ Calling all Brothers and Sisters! ✨🌙
We are once again on the verge of the most anticipated event for Atenean Muslims—𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐟𝐭𝐚𝐫! As the sun sets and the day draws to a close, there's no greater joy than coming together for a grand Iftar feast during this blessed month of Ramadhān.
Join us for 𝐚𝐧 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 as we break our fasts surrounded by the love and laughter of those we cherish. Our doors are open wide to all, regardless of race, religion, or background. Whether you've been fasting all day or simply wish to share in the joyous occasion, you're warmly invited to our table. Let's set aside our differences and embrace the unity that Ramadhān fosters.
As we near the end of Ramadhān, let us reflect on the seeds of goodness we've sown throughout this blessed month. Just as we began with the hope of renewal, now is the time to invest for a more faithful path in the future. With that, we present the theme of this year's lecture for the Grand Iftar: "𝑺𝒐𝒘𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑺𝒆𝒆𝒅𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝑹𝒂𝒎𝒂𝒅𝒉𝒂̄𝒏 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒂 𝑩𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒇𝒖𝒍 𝑭𝒖𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆". If we started our Ramadhan as new seedlings 🌱, it is now time for plant those seedlings to result into a lifetime activity 🌳 of worship and submission to Allāh ﷻ.
But our gathering isn't just about food and fellowship—𝐢𝐭'𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐬𝐨 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤. In the spirit of Ramadhān, we'll be collecting donations to support those less fortunate in our community. Every contribution, no matter how big or small, has the power to make a difference in someone's life. You may also contribute to the Grand Iftar donation to feed fasting individuals.
It was narrated from Zaid bin Khalid Al-Juhani that the Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ) said:
“𝑾𝒉𝒐𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝒈𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒔 𝒇𝒐𝒐𝒅 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒂 𝒇𝒂𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒐𝒏 𝒕𝒐 𝒃𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒌 𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒇𝒂𝒔𝒕, 𝒉𝒆 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒂 𝒓𝒆𝒘𝒂𝒓𝒅 𝒍𝒊𝒌𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒊𝒓𝒔, 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒅𝒆𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒊𝒓 𝒓𝒆𝒘𝒂𝒓𝒅 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒍𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒆𝒔𝒕.”
[𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐚𝐧 𝐈𝐛𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐣𝐚𝐡]
Anas narrated that :
The Prophet was asked: "𝑾𝒉𝒊𝒄𝒉 𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝒊𝒔 𝒃𝒆𝒔𝒕?" 𝑯𝒆 (ﷺ) 𝒔𝒂𝒊𝒅: "𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝒊𝒏 𝑹𝒂𝒎𝒂𝒅𝒂𝒏."
