On September 15, the Interact Club of Zamboanga City West proudly partnered 🤝🏻 with the Students Initiative for Nationalist Approach in Governance - AdZU (SINAG) at their State of The Youth Congress 2024 (SOYA)🗣️🎙️held on Zoom.

The event was a powerful platform for engaging in vital discussions about the political⚖️ and economic💰challenges our generation faces. We explored our role in shaping the future and emphasized the need to challenge and eradicate detrimental societal norms🙅🏻‍♀️.

It became evident that our voices matter🥹 and that our actions can drive meaningful change🙌🏻

Once again, IAC WEST successfully conducted another project! 🎉

As we celebrate the 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐲 𝐌𝐨𝐧t𝐡 this year, the Interact Club of Zamboanga City West conducted 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒋𝒆𝒄𝒕: 𝑳!𝑻 "𝑨𝒏𝒈 𝑳𝒊𝒕, 𝒔𝒂 𝑳𝒊𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒔𝒊𝒚𝒂" 💫 on September 29, 2024, at Barangay Capisan, Zamboanga City, and achieved a remarkable success. 🤩

This project aimed to offer a helping hand 🤝 to distant communities in need, particularly for literacy and basic education of one's child. The project, in partnership with Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Capisan & VERDAD Organization ✨️, organize an event where children ages 6-15 👧🧑 had the chance to experience interactive and engaging activities designed to foster their love for reading and learning 📖, donating learning materials, including crayons, penils, sharpeners, notebook, booklets, and books. 📚

Additionally, we are beyond grateful for the assistance and service of the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Capisan and VERDAD Organization, and most especially to the community of Barangay Capisan 💖. Their support and approval were crucial in making this project happen. 🤝🤩 We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to those who donated reading materials and made this project possible. 💙💛

Again, let us give 𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 🌈 a world full of 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨 and 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 to children.

In line with this, Interact Zamboanga City West in partnership with Sangguniang Kabataan Capisan & VERDAD Organization is set to launch on to new journey and project for the community entitled: 𝓟𝓻𝓸𝓳𝓮𝓬𝓽 𝓛!𝓣. 💡

𝓟𝓻𝓸𝓳𝓮𝓬𝓽 𝓛!𝓣💡 is all about bring the 𝗳𝘂𝗻🥰 back into learning📚. This initiative aims to enhance students literacy skills, including 𝐰𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 ✍️📚. To make this project a success, we are 𝒔𝒆𝒆𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒅𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔 to support our efforts in providing valuable resources for students who are Grade school to Junior High School level.

Indeed, the decline of literature ✍️can be one reason for the downfall of humanity🌎 and advancement. The 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗕𝗲𝗿-𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 🤶 of the year 2024, 𝑺𝒆𝒑𝒕𝒆𝒎𝒃𝒆𝒓, 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐲 𝐌𝐨𝐧t𝐡 is also being celebrated 🎉. In line with this, Interact Zamboanga City West is preparing to venture out on a new journey and project for the community entitled: 𝓟𝓻𝓸𝓳𝓮𝓬𝓽 𝓛!𝓣. 💡

𝓟𝓻𝓸𝓳𝓮𝓬𝓽 𝓛!𝓣💡 emphasizes the 𝗳𝘂𝗻🥰 in learning 📚. In this activity, children ages 6-15👶 are given the chance. More details about the event will be 𝒑𝒖𝒃𝒍𝒊𝒔𝒉𝒆𝒅 𝒔𝒐𝒐𝒏! Better watch out 👀and better get ready for the event 🛍, 'cause Interact West is here to save the month! 😜

𝙃𝙪𝙧𝙧𝙖𝙝!

Curious about what the 𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙩 𝘾𝙡𝙪𝙗 (𝙄𝘼𝘾) 𝙤𝙛 𝙕𝙖𝙢𝙗𝙤𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙖 𝘾𝙞𝙩𝙮 (𝙕𝘾) 𝙒𝙚𝙨𝙩 has been up to this month? The club recently held its 2𝙣𝙙 𝙢𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙝𝙡𝙮 𝙢𝙚𝙚𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 on August 24 via Google Meet to review their accomplishments and plans for the future.

During the meeting, they summarized the 𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙢𝙨 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙡𝙚𝙩𝙚𝙙 since the start of the new Rotary year. They also reviewed the 𝙘𝙡𝙪𝙗’𝙨 𝙛𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙪𝙨 to ensure everything is on track. The discussion then shifted to 𝙪𝙥𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙟𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙨 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙢𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙝 and beyond. 𝙏𝙖𝙨𝙠𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙜𝙣𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨 𝙬𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙙𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙗𝙪𝙩𝙚𝙙 among members to ensure 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙞𝙣𝙫𝙤𝙡𝙫𝙚𝙙 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙙.

Overall, the agenda ensured that 𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝 𝙢𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧 𝙞𝙨 𝙬𝙚𝙡𝙡-𝙞𝙣𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙚𝙙 about the 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙄𝘼𝘾 𝙤𝙛 𝙕𝘾 𝙒𝙚𝙨𝙩 and 𝙖𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙩𝙖𝙨𝙠𝙨 that lie ahead.

Interact Club of Zamboang City West has conducted another successful project kicking of the Clean-Up Drive ♻️ at Barangay Kasanyangan on August 26, 2024, adding it to the club's MAGICAL ✨️ legacy. Big thanks to the interactors who stepped up to make our environment cleaner and greener 🍃 , proving that when we join forces, we can make a difference. 🤝

This project showcases the interactors' commitment to serving the community and protecting the environment, always continuing to make positive changes wherever and whenever we can! 💙

Let’s continue to unite for a cause that benefits us all—because a cleaner city starts with us! 🌿
