Bamboo Propagation Event | Call for Volunteers! 🌱

Join Shelly the Turtle 🐢 and the Ecowatch team for a hands-on bamboo propagation event on October 19, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM! This event is open to all ADZU students, staff, and faculty, and will take place at the backfield near the Law building. Bamboo is a powerful plant for carbon sequestration and ecosystem restoration, so your participation will directly contribute to a greener, more sustainable future! 🌿

Whether you’re an experienced gardener or new to planting, everyone is welcome. We’ll guide you through the steps of propagating bamboo, a plant that grows quickly and helps combat climate change. Just bring your enthusiasm and your own pair of gloves! 🧤

IN PHOTOS | Last September 21, 2024, Ecowatch stood in solidarity 🤝 with the global community 🌏 in celebrating International Coastal Cleanup Day by venturing to our local shores along the AdZU Lantaka Campus, turning a day of remembrance into action. ✊ Side by side with zealous volunteers, 👤 we partook in picking up trash, which was then handed over to the Office of the City Environment and Natural Resources (OCENR) for proper disposal. 🗑️
