I have many memories attached with the place seen in this above photograph. These doors seen on the right are where all the sports equipment were kept . This area was the sports section of my School in Birmingham UK.
I remember the day when I was only 12 years old (1990) and I played my first match with proper cricket hard ball for Lode Heath School and I scored 39 runs not out and took two wickets against another School .I can vividly recall the other School's name was Tudor Grange School . I was a new arrival from Pakistan to UK and I immediately impressed my Cricket Coach in the very first match .
After the match I was named Captain for.my team and then for the next four years in class 7,8,9 & 10 th I remained Captain.
After completion of class 10 th when I was returning back to Pakistan I was highly praised by the School's Sports teacher specially Mr Oliver who called me a Demon Bowler and also added that since this School was Established in 1937 Adeel has the best record as a Cricket Captain. As under his captaincy the team played 30 matches and they won 27 of them .
So this particular area of the school was so special because I used to take out Cricket kits whenever we had a match or practice and sometimes I sat there to finalize my team and it also served as a pavilion when the match was at our home pitch in the ground which can be seen on the left side ...
When I recently saw this photo from.my School's website I travelled down the memory lane and my memories associated with this place started to flash in to my mind .

Our Coach Ibrahim Qureshi Bhai is also trainer of Shahid Afridi .. We reached Quarterfinals.. it was a good experience for me to play along players who were playing for our National team too . ..
