The Educators

‘THE EDUCATORS’ South Region proudly hosted the 20th Annual Speech and Debate Contest - Regional Level at the Ms. Yasmeen Aqeel Auditorium, Beaconhouse PECHS Campus. This event brought together 54 contestants from various cities in Sindh and Balochistan, all competing for victory.

Dr. Syed Sharaf Ali Shah, Chairman IBCC (Inter Board Committee of Chairmen) and Chairman of the Board of Secondary Education - Karachi, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

The regional-level winners have qualified for the national-level competition in Lahore. The honourable Chief Guest, Dr. Syed Sharaf Ali Shah commended ‘THE EDUCATORS’ for hosting and executing the event seamlessly, expressing appreciation for its well-organised nature.

'THE EDUCATORS' proudly announces that we partnered with HIVE Pakistan to provide support and facilitation to the students of ‘THE EDUCATORS’, who will be involved in community service projects under the initiative of ‘THE EDUCATORS’ - ACT TO IMPACT.

HIVE Pakistan is a social-impact organisation working to address issues of extremism and marginalisation through community-led research, facilitative grant-making, upstream mobilisation, innovative campaigning, need-based mentorship, and participatory collaboration.

This agreement allows HIVE Pakistan to support ‘THE EDUCATORS’ students' ACT TO IMPACT projects by giving micro-funding and providing adaptive capacity support through their 'Community Innovation Lab - CIL'. 64 different projects by students of 'THE EDUCATORS' will be micro-funded followed by further grants to the selected potential projects for their expansion.

‘THE EDUCATORS’, in collaboration with Roshan Rahain, is organising the 1st Roshan Children’s Film Festival, starting from Lahore! The aim of this festival is to engage children with opportunities to explore and learn from some of the best films made for children.

These films, developed by international directors, will only be available for viewing at the 1st Roshan Children’s Film Festival!

Carefully handpicked children’s films that have never been seen before will be showcased over three days, encouraging students of different ages to experience the wonders of filmmaking and make memories together.

The daily arrival time for students is 9.15am.
Movie screenings will commence daily at 10.00am.

14 films (60 minutes of screen time) for students aged 4 to 6 years old.

DAY 2: THURSDAY, 14 DECEMBER 2023
13 films (108 minutes of screen time) for students aged 8 to 10 years old.

DAY 3: FRIDAY, 15 DECEMBER, 2023
7 films (78 minutes of screen time) for students aged 12 to 14 years old.

‘THE EDUCATORS’ Regional Office South organised the pilot intervention Andaz-e-Sukhan, aimed at enhancing the Urdu language skills of students and elevating their spoken language abilities. The theme of the competition was Allama Iqbal.

We were overwhelmed by the response and commitment of our students. Their talent in effortlessly embracing the beauty of language and captivating the audience was truly commendable. The winners of the competition were:

Global Entrepreneurship Week returns on 13-19 November 2023 and it is the world's largest entrepreneurship festival, celebrated in 180 countries. ‘I AM AN ENTREPRENEUR’, an academic intervention by ‘THE EDUCATORS’ aims to spark the entrepreneurial spirit of our students. It is a comprehensive programme for students, where our young stars get to shine by pitching innovative business ideas to a panel of esteemed judges.

Ms. Alia Zafar, a renowned social entrepreneur and Group Head at The Bank of Punjab, shared valuable insights during an online guidance session held for the Northern Region. Mr. Umar Qamar, the visionary Founder of Export Leftovers (ELO) and Polo Republica, made a significant impact during his online guidance session in the Faisalabad Region.

Ms. Bushra Yousaf from ‘THE EDUCATORS’ Head Office, conducted orientation and guidance sessions in Faislabad, Multan and Northern Regions contributing to the holistic development of aspiring entrepreneurs.

‘THE EDUCATORS’ believes in creating a culture of giving and helping less-privileged communities as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Recently, we partnered with Pehli Kiran Schools (PKS) to professionally develop their school leadership and teachers.

Pehli Kiran Schools is a not-for-profit school system, operating 10 schools in Islamabad. It is an initiative of the Jamshed Akhter Qureshi (JAQ) Education Trust, which aims to help underprivileged children in marginalised communities.

The MoU signing ceremony was held at ‘THE EDUCATORS’ Regional Office North where Mr. Ali Raza, Group Director Beaconhouse, Mr. Zia Khattak, Regional Head North, Ms. Shumaila Akram, Regional Academic Head North, ‘THE EDUCATORS’ North team, and Ms. Sabira Qureshi, Founder and Managing Trustee of JAQ Education Trust, signed the contract of mutual understanding.

‘THE EDUCATORS’ Regional Office Southern Punjab organised the Regional Art Contest 2023 for young artists to showcase their creativity on the regional level. The primary objective of this contest was to inspire and assist students in developing their creative abilities and enhancing their critical awareness.

A total of 100 students from 25 campuses submitted their artworks adhering to the primary theme of 'Inventions of The Future' and the secondary theme of 'Enriching Lives Through Diversity and Inclusion'.

Winners were presented with shields and certificates in recognition of their efforts.

We are thrilled to announce that Syed Muhammad Hadi Jafri, an exceptional student from 'THE EDUCATORS' Gulshan Campus II Karachi, proudly represented 'THE EDUCATORS' at the International Taekwondo Championship in Qatar.

Competing against athletes from 35 countries, Hadi demonstrated his remarkable skills and determination. He triumphed in four thrilling matches and earned a well-deserved 2nd place in the final round.

A successful partnership between the player of the match Fakhar Zaman and the captain Babar Azam has given Pakistan a crucial victory. Hats off to Team Pakistan on their big win!! 🏏
