Our PROFESSIONAL BAKER’S PROGRAM is targeted to train home based bakers to polish and learn new skills in the art of cake baking and cake decorating.

Teaching methods:

We aim at teaching new techniques and to apply latest methods of training the students in our HANDS ON PRACTICE classes . The students are given opportunity to bake , layer and decorate their cakes in the class . More over students are given homework on weekends which is mandatory for all students.

Practice level:

We start at the very basic level Cake baking and decorating and pave our way to more and more complex techniques. Going all the way to tiered cakes , themes , wedding cakes and gravity defying cakes .

Business management :

Our students are taught how to run their home based business effectively. Our comprehensive course of entrepreneurship includes Time management, Branding , Marketing, In-house management Operations, Customer Handling , Basic finance management. . A lawyer session will be arranged where you will be educated about your legal status and requirements. More over the grants and loans available to women entrepreneurs by govt. institutions are brought on table .

Boston cream cake … moist layers of decadent vanilla cake infused with our special milky syrup layered with Belgian chocolate ganache in between the cake layers . This flavour is my personal favourite… a combination of vanilla with Belgian chocolate is always a winner combination.
It can be decorated in any style , this one was done with edible gold and cream for a very special customer .

Cherry on Top's Professional Baker's Program is designed to enhance the skills and expertise of home-based bakers in the art of cake baking and decorating. Our program focuses on training through hands-on practice classes, where students have the opportunity to bake, layer, and decorate cakes. Additionally, students are assigned mandatory weekend homework to further their learning.

Our teaching methods aim to introduce new techniques and incorporate the latest training methods. We start with the basics of cake baking and decorating and gradually progress to more complex techniques, including tiered cakes, themed cakes, wedding cakes, and gravity-defying cakes.

In addition to mastering cake-related skills, our program covers essential aspects of running a home-based business effectively. We provide comprehensive entrepreneurship training, which includes time management, branding, marketing, in-house operations management, customer handling, and basic financial management. We also arrange a session with a lawyer to educate you about legal requirements and your business's legal status. Furthermore, we highlight grants and loans available to women entrepreneurs from government institutions.

The core subjects of our program include cake baking, flavor development, fondant decorating, cream/buttercream work, advanced decorating techniques, and entrepreneurship. A detailed syllabus will be discussed during the orientation session.

The program runs for two months, with classes held three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) from 3pm to 6pm. The total fee for the summer break session is 75,000 rs.
