دوڑ کے مقابلوں میں فنش لائن سے چند فٹ کے فاصلے پر کینیا کا ایتھلیٹ عبدالمطیع سب سے آگے تھا، مگر اس نے سمجھا کہ وہ دوڑ جیت چکا ہے، اس کے بالکل پیچھے سپین کا رنر ایون فرنینڈز دوڑ رہا تھا اس نے جب دیکھا کہ مطیع غلط فہمی کی بنیاد پر رک رہا ہے تو اس نے اسے آواز دی کی دوڑو ابھی فنش لائن کراس نہیں ھوئی، مطیع اس کی لینگوئج نہیں سمجھتا تھا اس لئیے اسے بالکل سمجھ نہ آئی، یہ بہترین موقع تھا کہ فرنینڈز اس سے آگے نکل کے دوڑ جیت لیتا مگر اس نے عجیب فیصلہ کیا اس نے عبدالمطیع کو دھکا دے کے فنش لائن سے پار کروا دیا.

تماشائی اس سپورٹس مین سپرٹ پر دنگ رہ گئے، فرنینڈز ھار کے بھی ھیرو بن چکا تھا.
ایک صحافی نے بعد میں فرنینڈز سے پوچھا تم نے یہ کیوں کیا
فرنینڈز نے جواب دیا
"میرا خواب ہے کہ ہم ایک ایسا معاشرہ قائم کریں جہاں کوئی دوسرے کو اس لئیے دھکا دے تاکہ وہ جیت سکے".

صحافی نے پھرپوچھا "مگر تم نے کینیا کے ایتھلیٹ کو کیوں جیتنے دیا"
فرنینڈز نے جواب دیا
"میں نے اسے جیتے نہیں دیا، وہ ویسے ہی جیت رہا تھا، یہ دوڑ اسی کی تھی"
صحافی نے اصرار کیا" مگر تم یہ دوڑ جیت سکتے تھے"
فرنینڈز نے اس کی طرف دیکھا اور بولا
" اس جیت کا کیا میرٹ ہوتا؟ اس میڈل کی کیا عزت ہوتی؟ میری ماں میرے بارے میں کیا سوچتی؟".

1)سب سے بڑی وجہ یہ ہے ، کہ 23 سالوں سے ہمارے خلائی ادارے کا چیئرمین ایک جنرل ہے۔آپ سمجھ گئے ہونگے۔
3)دوسری وجہ دفتروں میں کام نہیں کرتے، اپنے آپکو بہت مصروف دکھاتے ہیں، لیکن ایسا کچھ بھی نہیں۔چھوٹا چپ بھی نھیں بنا سکے۔
3*تیسری وجہ یہ ہے کہ اس ادارے میں قابل لوگوں کو پریشرائز کیا جاتا ہے اور جاب چھوڑنے پر مجبور کردیئے ہیں
4)چوتھی وجہ ہے کہ اس ملکل میں سائنسدانوں کے ساتھ جو سلوک ہوتا ہے، آب کوئی سائنسدان بننے کے لیے تیار نہیں۔اور نہ بنتا ہے۔
5)پانچویں وجہ ہمارے نظام تعلیم اس معیار ر کا نہیں کہ ہم اچھے سائنسدان پیدا کریں۔
6)چھٹی وجہ ہیاں پر طالبعلم ریسرچ کرتے ہیں لیکن اس ریسرچ کو اپلائی کرنے اور تجربات کے لیے بجٹ نہیں، کوئی کھا جاتا ہے۔
7)سہولیات نہ ہونے یا جاب نہ ملنے کی وجہ سے زیادہ تر قابل طالبعلم باہر ملک چلے جاتے ہیں کیونکہ پاکستان میں قابل لوگوں کی کوئی قدر نہیں۔پھر وہی طالبعلم باہر ریسرچ کرتے ہیں سکالر شپ پر اور انگریز لوگ اس سے فائدے لیتے ہیں۔
8)ہمارے سیاستدان کرسی کے پیچھے لگے ہوئے ہیں، کوئی بھی خلائی ریسرچ میں interest نہیں ہے۔
9)یہاں پر کسی ریسرچر کی حوصلہ افزائی نہیں ہوتی بلکہ اس کے کام کو مذاق سمجھ کر ضائع کردیئے ہیں۔
